      @@CherylJoseph-wf9uk I’m referring specifically to the downtown area with many empty commercial spaces offering potential to open local business.

    Nice video! What about public schools in Pinella's County ? Good neighborhoods ?!

      It is a mix in Pinellas County in general. That could be a whole other video! Good idea :) But for the most part, I would recommend checking out niche.com or greatschools.net. Those have some good info on schools to get one started. You can also find good area info in there too. If you have a specific question, feel free to email us direct or set up a call! We are happy to help in any way.

    I live on long island. My brother lives in Tampa. How is the job market? And how are the people there? Friendly or rude? Also how is crime down there? Thank you!

    • @allaboutstpeteflorida
      @allaboutstpeteflorida  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Job market is good. I think it recently got a little better than the last couple years. People are people. Some friendly, some not. If you are a friendly person, I don't think you will have any issues meeting nice, friendly people! Crime varies - you can search that directly on a few consumer websites or city websites to get the most up to date information. The area is large - so much of this depends on where you are. But I think you would like it here!

    Im thinking of moving there. Does florida get sink holes?

    • @allaboutstpeteflorida
      @allaboutstpeteflorida  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! Yes, yes it does. For the St. Pete/Tampa area we don't see too many large sinkholes near the cities or in most of the largley populated areas. Most times we hear of them further north - in Pasco County. So up towards Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel and out towards Seffner. So more up that way. However, then can occur anywhere at any time. There are sink holes in many cities in the US, so it is not just a Florida thing. If you are concerned, there are ways to have your property or land tested using radar and geological tests, which help to determine if something might be developing. You can also go to floridadep.gov/fgs/sinkholes and there is a ton of info there to reference. Hope you are considering St Pete! It is awesome here! 😀 Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

      @@allaboutstpeteflorida Does insurance cover sink holes? I'm studying the area to prepare my self when I do move down there.

      @@JJ-rf7dg not all the time. Varies on insurance and coverage options. It’s not common. If you want to send me an email I can put you in touch with a great insurance team they can get you all the info you want to know. Then you will have the info for sure! I was in Clearwater for7 years. Florida IS a sinkhole.
      There are sinkhole maps on the internet.
      I checked AFTER I moved in.🤭

    The whole state of Florida is a huge flat peace of sand sorrounded by water...it's just a sand bar full of nursing homes....very very very flat. You can drive for hundreds of miles and it all looks the same...lol...gets very monotonous...mostly people stay inside all year with the Air Conditioner running...it's Bars and Restaurants on sand...

    • @allaboutstpeteflorida

      Ha ha yes it is very flat. I think there are a few small hills here and there. But it's still pretty enjoyable!
