    Imagine this for a moment…
Remember when Brock Purdy was in college? Nope! No one does. He was not on anyone’s radar and was drafted last, but was drafted. But his talent and production determine his draft position.
Take that same situation but his dad was one of the greatest players ever still playing talking about how he wanted to play with his son. How would that look? This is nepotism at best and hey I’m all for it, but let’s call it what it is. We see people get things they may not necessarily deserve or have earned all the time. This is a “is he good enough” conversation. I know life doesn’t always work like that, but sports is the one place it usually does.

I watched a few of Bronny's USC games deep into the season and I didn't see anything impressive. Even if I ignore the numbers and consider the eye test. Bronny looked like a player who needs more time on the court to grow his skills, and probably play on a team where he can be the main PG and get all the minutes.
A huge problem for Bronny is that doesn't have any physical gifts which give him advantages over other players. Bronny's athleticism looks good, but it's not elite enough to make him stand out from other PGs. Instead, Bronny is an undersized PG with inconsistent scoring. Usually PGs like that get waived. If I was a GM, I'd rather take another chance on Killian Hayes than give Bronny a chance.

Now idk if Jordan intervened or not but I would imagine if he did, his son would t been in the NBA. I say all that to say this. Seem like he’s being given the golden treatment.
