- Some poorly edited captain 3 scenes from splatoon 3 and Octo expansion because I think she is the greatest character in the game (not biased because of my oc I swear)
People keep bugging me about pronouns. Yes, I know that Captain's pronouns are canonically they/them. But this video includes MY version of Captain; meaning that I can interpret them the way that I want to, and so I use she/her, and used she/her in the video. Sorry if that upsets you.
Also, the thing about "practise from inner agent 3" was a joke, she obviously couldn't because it was in Agent 8's head
The title says feminine version because I'm working on a masc version, but have to complete the game again lol

It always seemed fitting to me that the one who beat the original hardest boss, Octavio, is now the hardest boss in the series.
Honestly, Octavio was cracked in the first game, ngl.

@@IONATVS oh yeah I did that too haha. However I had beaten him in story mode post game enough times to have it committed to muscle memory lmao. So that wasn’t that hard when I already got the hang of the original battle outside of the challenge.

@@IONATVS yeah I can’t remember too much since that was years ago for me and my Wii U has been broken ever since but the Octavio boss scarred me and I shall never forget. Especially since I had a power outage the first time I got to the last checkpoint

@@virgovertigo8076 Pearl did kinda do that but she took out a special that is basicaly used all the time in Splat 1, and just ploppped it down, Captain 3 just turned it on with nothing, and Pearl probably had one of those can things (This is what I think) for 3 they just turn on a special, grabs something that is no where near a special Y E E T S it jumps with no Squid form and here you have it in this video.
She really went from some edgy and tough 14-year old that followed some creepy old dude in a pothole that she just considered a father figure to a chill and “been there done that” Captain like seriously she’s the best

I love the way Captain walks in 3. After the gang encounters Mr Grizz for the first time, Captain just casually waltzes into frame (after being injured).

Captain 3 is badass without being mary sue overpowered (looking at a certain other first protagonist from a nintendo series) and every cameo they've had was a blast!
Even the one time they were OP, the inner fight, took place in 8's mind and was only 8's perception of 3, this character is always written so creatively!

@@NayruSSB Yes. At the squid sisters camp in alterna go slightly behind it and find the zapfish plushie. It will say "relive memories?" and do that and you can go back to the crater. Then in cuttlefishs camp there on the chair there's a picture of the captain and you can click on it and he'll ask if it looks okay and then you can change it from there

Okay so like, I've heard about people headcanoning that Captain 3 communicates using sign language which is really cool too, but I've always had the idea that she/they use(s) the "C'mon!" and obviously "Booyah!" commands from Splatoon 1 specifically to communicate, making her/them the only character able to still use "C'mon!" which I thought was really neat!

remember that the captain was an 14 year old girl who followed a creepy man through a hole, saved the world, got beef with a telephone in octo expansion, got sanitized and got her butt kicked by agent 8, then bro became the new captain. I also love how she was so serious in the first games and now she’s chilling and smiling as a captain. (she was 14 in splatoon1, 16 in splatoon2 and 21 in splatoon3.

What's your take on these headcanons for Captain 3:
* They mostly communicate via sign language. Marie will always translate.
* They still show trauma over the events of Octo Expansion. With a patch of Tartar over one eye.
* They have gotten out of shape (the weight gain type) and only gets agile when doing Specials. Maybe promotion gave them less time to participate in Splatfests.

1) i think that she's a little shy because she's not used to being the captain she was always just an agent and she's also a little embarrassed. marie is just trying to be helpful
2) definitely, when i draw my cap she has permanent eye colour change and some scarring around the eye
3) i can see the weight gain thing tbh even my cap is a lil lazy and she sleeps for ages and stuff and she kinda finds turf war boring now anyway
3 and callie are the best splatoon characters i love them so much

If you’ve seen John Sandwich’s Splatoon animations, he nailed 3’s personality so wonderfully! She’s laid-back, emotionless (for the most part), more serious than others, but definitely caring for her fellow agents (though sometimes annoyed by their naïve behavior) and has a heart of gold.
Oh, and an Octoling boy becomes her secret admirer.
So true to a noble cause, she’s definitely earned her position as Captain, succeeding Cuttlefish.
I love this! I also do love John sandwichs animations, they're so wonderful and I always enjoy seeing 3's character (she's my favourite if anyone couldn't tell)

I mean, who else can fling a giant razor made of helicopter parts into the air in a perfectly straight trajectory then proceed to jump at speeds exceeding that giant razor to eventually intersect the razor's flight path and catch it midair, then immediately come to a stop once the razor is grabbed and go straight down and start cutting up an entire island's surface area worth of fuzz cleanly within like 5 seconds?
