@@WowMomica It threw me off too, because the attack came as the animation faded. However, while Retail has mechanics to "pop" the Pally Bubble, there is nothing in Vanilla that I'm aware of. As a matter of fact, once you get high enough level, you can, IIRC, get a 10 second bubble and a 10 second Hearth, then macro it and do the infamous "Bubble Hearth" which makes you almost unkillable. In "unoffical hc", the addon would detect that and violate your run. It was banned in "unofficial hc" rules.
Oh, don't forget to check which Rank your heals are on your bars. Vanilla, typically, doesn't automatically upgrade Ranks on Heals and most caster spells. You'll want to figure out which heals you wan to used most once you have more than one spell. Typically you want to have a quick heal and an efficient heal handy. I forget which is which on Paladin. IIRC you even had to watch out for that on melee characters back in the day, but that's not a problem in Classic that I've noticed.
9:10 You'll have to consult your challenge rules to see what is, or is not a buff. However, I can tell you how I think Paladin, typically, should be played, at least at this low level. You have that Seal of the Crusader and you already had, I think it's called Seal of Righteousness. You can read each seal has two effects. One is the "buff" you see on you for, IIRC, 30 seconds, and other is when you "Judge" that "Seal" onto an enemy. It then takes that Seal off of you, and does 2nd effect to the enemy. SoR does a little extra Holy damage, and if you Judge someone (taking the Seal off of you), I think it just does flat Holy damage. SotC gives you Attack Power and Attack Speed, but at reduce damage per swing, but it you Judge that on someone, it make them take *more* Holy damage with a debuff that your attacks automatically refresh. Kinda see where this is going? You SotC yourself, Judge your opponent, SoR yourself, and now you are _dealing_ Holy damage while they are simultaneously _taking extra_ Holy damage. You Judge SoR just before it expires, then refresh SoR. Be careful, tho you can start using too much mana, sometimes you may want to just not Judge and just refresh SoR, or Just and not refresh if the fight is almost over. Paladins often do not have a lot of mana so they gotta sometimes watch out for Sealing or Judging too much. Side note, not many mobs are resistant to Holy damage. You may have noticed that some mobs resisted your Mage Frost or Fire spells and you had to switch up what you used. Not really a problem for Holy damage.
BTW, I think it's cool that you get to use that "Shovel" Mace. I've had it many times, but when playing with no restrictions, you always have a better weapon by the time you get there normally so it made no sense to use other than to walk around Stormwind with it, lol.
You would have already failed the challenge if you aren't allowed to use your buffs because Seal of Righteousness is a weapon buff. It fills your weapon with holy power to deal extra damage.
I thought the Ironman challenge rules allow the use of all your spells and buffs but restrict the use of receiving buffs form others? For example if a priest buffs you with power word fortitude you must remove the spell right away.

I was mistaken about the white weapon that Antonio Perilli offers, the mace I was remembering is green. Sorry
Oh ok, well I hadn't had a chance to go find him yet, so now I wont worry about it. lol
Looks fun!!
😊
It is!
12:41 ya, the animation seemed to outlast the actual shield(you can see the buff expire). that shield lasts longer as you get higher ranks.
ok
