I want to share with you what helped me. I can't do key binds. I suppose when I first played game back in TBC, if someone had shown me how, I could have learned, but not too old. But a friend of mind convinced me to get a gaming mouse that has 12 buttons that coincide with the spell bar. It was such a game changer for me. It's very easy to train the brain to automatically know where the buttons are to what spells. Some spells with different classes I put on same keys. My oh crap button is #5. It's the same with all classes that I use to stop runners, so for a pally it would be the hammer of justice, but for a hunter it would be concussive shot, and my priest it's her shield. Anyway, the mouse sure gave me a quality of life improvement.
I never even thought of that, I have seen those, but figured they would be super confusing, I might have to look into it tho, cause for some reason I just never use the keybinds I have made.
I think announcement just means the chat, and I think alert means the flash across the middle of the screen. Unlike the addon or the lvl 60, there is no audible, tho. And you may still have to manually join the channel. I guess we'll see. I know on the horde side deaths were pretty busy this weekend, lol. Almost thought my Hunter was gone today a few times, but I managed to make it. I wouldn't have on Iron Man as I used a few potions, lol. ;)
@@WowMomica There is. That is how the addon worked and blizzard copied that method. If you right click the Chat tab, go to Settings. Then go to Global Channels, it will list all of the "official" blizzard channels. And all the "official" channels you have not joined will have a button there you can click to join the channel.
