  • Today we are looking at the Select Package on the 2019 Mazda3. The Select Package intros at $23,520. They don't have any sort of add on packages so if you don't add all wheel drive ($1,400) this is what you would expect to see at your local dealership unless you are looking at red, white, or machine gray.
    If you have any questions please ask in the comment section down below, I read every comment! If you want to see a particular trim level or vehicle in the Mazda lineup please let me know and I will try and get that one out ASAP for you. If you liked the content you saw today please subscribe to get updated when more comes out!

    Even a base model still looks that good, tbh i would rather have this over the KIA/Hyundai the Mazda just looks much more attractive and the material they use is more upscale, it's worth to visit the Mazda dealership to have a look and test drive.

    The Select is a great mid level trim for the $ but my only issue is that the leatherette does not come heated, which is an awful and cheap omission on Mazda’s part. Nothing worse than sitting on cold leather in the winter. I’d rather just have cloth. I also wish Mazda would put Apple car play/AA on the base trim, a sunroof on the Preferred trim, and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, 360 camera on the Premium to make it truly a premium trim!

    Hello! How are the speakers compared to the bose audio? I listen to a lot of music when commuting, and am spoiled with an aftermarket sound system in my current car. Really considering the preferred package over the select!

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's hard to say, I guess flat would be the best term? I'm sure you can tweak the settings to help this but I am just going from the default settings. The stock system by no means is bad or anything. It's actually pretty good compared to a lot of stock sound systems but the bose system is definitely a step above in quality and richness to the sound.

      Just picked up a 2021 Select, and I must say, I really wish I had gotten the Premium package. The Select LOOKS good, but the sound system is just mediocre (at best), and the absence of the moonroof & the power seats is kind of disappointing. If you're in the market, you should only be considering the Preferred & Premium versions. Ignore all the others.

      PC Mazda Reviews What’s your take on select vs preferred ? Is preferred package worth more than select for the price and feature difference?

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Your real big differences between those trim levels are your heated seats, Bose surround system, and power driver seat. The other changes I feel are pretty minor I think, is the $1,800 price difference worth that to you? Personally since I’m from a very warm area year round the heated seats aren’t a deal breaker, the power seat is nice but do you find you’re moving your seat all the time? The only real draw personally is the Bose surround system which is pretty nice.

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      And to answer your question I missed before yes you could potentially order those rims from the dealer but it will be an above and beyond charge. There is no way to add them from the manufacturer.

    Hello. I heard you said you own a 2018 6. I am in between a 6 2018 and a 2019 3. Since you driven both which one would you pick between the 2 and why? Thanks

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The biggest reason I personally drive the 6 is because I like having the turbo engine. If you are looking at one of the none turbo Mazda6 trims I would actually suggest the Mazda3 if you don't need the back seat space. Really it comes down to if you need space for passengers or not when you are looking at the none turbo variants, they both drive wonderfully so you can't go wrong either way.

    • @1carlosguitar
      @1carlosguitar 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PCMazdaReviews thank you so much for the reply. I was actually looking for the touring model, non turbo. So in terms of quality, comfort, and reliability you would say the 3 would be the best option? I know is almost the same but jst making sure i make the right move

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@1carlosguitar If you don't find yourself with passengers all the time I would pick the 3 over the 6 in this instance. The 6 hasn't been really since its 2018 models and the new styling of the 3 is really nice. Again though, you wont go wrong with either car you decide to go with.

    Hi all! Just bought a 2019 mazda 3 hatch. I was wondering if anyone else has figured out the keyless entry, or if my sensor is broken. In the settings menu on the infotainment screen it says one touch of the sensor and it will unlock drivers door, and twice it will unlock all doors. However, the sensor on the door handle doesn’t let me touch it twice. Also, once I touch the drivers door sensor, it doesn’t let my passenger touch their sensor to unlock their door. Is this normal? Is it possible to touch the sensor twice, and it respond? Or do I have to use my transmitter to unlock all doors?
    Thank you!

      I apologize for the wait, I was finally able to get my hands no the car today. I was not able to trigger a double tap that would unlock all the doors. So I am actually not sure how they expect you to do the unlock. Now they do have a setting under Settings ------> Vehicle Settings -----> Door Locks you will find under here that you can select for the single touch to unlock all doors.
