This is beautiful. I may have been raised Methodist and Protestant but I have never protested anything regarding the Holy Orthodox tradition. In my belief, this is exactly what our beloved Lord and Master Jesus Christ meant when he said "people must worship in spirit and in truth". A truly heavenly sound.
Unfortunately our Orthodox brothers and sisters have one thing wrong, and that is that Our Lord truly did say and mean: "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." He made Peter and the bishops who succeeded him in his episcopate (bishopric) the steward of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth: "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven." This alone proves that the Catholic Church is that true Church. Even though as prophesied it has become the house of every unclean spirit. It has been eclipsed by Papa Franky and crew, and is oppressed in the form of a remnant of those who keep the Catholic spirit and tradition. As told us by the Blessed Virgin Mary in her appearances to several holy people trhoughout the centuries: "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the antichrist"-a Church approved apparition at LaSalette, France! The Orthodox have valid sacraments, and a valid priesthood, but they are not licit, because they are not in union with Peter, the bishop over the bishops of the Church. They are in fact in schism. He also forbade divorce and remarriage expressly, wheras the schismatic 'Orthodox' disobey this moral teaching (notice, moral, not teaching about a certain practice). "Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her that is put away from her husband, commmitteth adultery." God bless!
If you read the whole verse about adultery, you will see that the scripture goes on to say "UNLESS" the divorce is because of sexual immorality. There is nothing in the whole Bible that says that Catholics or Orthodox have a monopoly on following Jesus. What about the man who was freed from demonic possession and told Jesus he wanted to leave everything and follow Jesus? Jesus said he should remain in the city and tell his testimony of healing to the people around him. Quit playing the Pharisee and see that God wills that all would be saved and makes the path to the cross available for ALL people. Ave Christus Rex You have a pope, supposedly the Vicar of God Himself, who has taught that there is no hell, that "good" people go to heaven and "bad" people just cease to exist after death, that atheists go to heaven, and that homosexuality is basically ok as long as the person is "good". As far as divorce and remarriage, don't even go there while the Catholics have their annulment factory up and running. Not to mention the current pope questioning the Catholic ban on remarried, non annulled Catholics receiving Catholic communion.

When I go this year in Belgrade I go to cathedral church in the center.... I like to see people how believe in God and especially teenagers... I went to the liturgy in Sunday and every afternoon has liturgy for two ours....... This is our loved martyr pain Orthodox religious..... We suffer from turks communists phanatical people..... But in the end the Orthodox faith survival from all this bad thing..... We must have faith in the Lord..... Let them some bad priests is humans....... That Christian rock you are talking about has a deep message and is written by very faithful people who really believe and love God. Many thanks for this glorious compilation, from a recent American convert in Northern California. I moved from hard-core atheism of some fifty years to Greek Orthodoxy this past year, unwillingly, not feeling it necessary, but because God somehow called and compelled me. My faith is strong, sincere, and ever-growing. I play these beautiful chants often during my evening devotions, and as I read the Scriptures and the writings of our Church Fathers. All Orthodox are my brothers and sisters, whatever Patriarchal politics may say, and however we may diverge on some issues. Greek, Russian, Serbian, Ethiopian, Indian, Antiochan, etc., we remain the oldest, truest form of our faith, and I join with all of you in love and in Christ.
Wonderful to hear Christ called you. He did the same to me 6 years ago, although I wasn’t atheist, but I wasn’t a true Christian. I love the writings of the saints also, St Silouan is my favourite. I feel a real kinship to his writings. God bless you.

This is beautiful. I may have been raised Methodist and Protestant but I have never protested anything regarding the Holy Orthodox tradition. In my belief, this is exactly what our beloved Lord and Master Jesus Christ meant when he said "people must worship in spirit and in truth". A truly heavenly sound.

Unfortunately our Orthodox brothers and sisters have one thing wrong, and that is that Our Lord truly did say and mean: "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it."
He made Peter and the bishops who succeeded him in his episcopate (bishopric) the steward of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth: "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven."
This alone proves that the Catholic Church is that true Church. Even though as prophesied it has become the house of every unclean spirit. It has been eclipsed by Papa Franky and crew, and is oppressed in the form of a remnant of those who keep the Catholic spirit and tradition. As told us by the Blessed Virgin Mary in her appearances to several holy people trhoughout the centuries: "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the antichrist"-a Church approved apparition at LaSalette, France!
The Orthodox have valid sacraments, and a valid priesthood, but they are not licit, because they are not in union with Peter, the bishop over the bishops of the Church. They are in fact in schism.
He also forbade divorce and remarriage expressly, wheras the schismatic 'Orthodox' disobey this moral teaching (notice, moral, not teaching about a certain practice).
"Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her that is put away from her husband, commmitteth adultery."

If you read the whole verse about adultery, you will see that the scripture goes on to say "UNLESS" the divorce is because of sexual immorality.
There is nothing in the whole Bible that says that Catholics or Orthodox have a monopoly on following Jesus. What about the man who was freed from demonic possession and told Jesus he wanted to leave everything and follow Jesus? Jesus said he should remain in the city and tell his testimony of healing to the people around him. Quit playing the Pharisee and see that God wills that all would be saved and makes the path to the cross available for ALL people. It is the pharisaical who are hypocrites who are storing up wrath, not the sincere and loving Protestants, Catholics, or Orthodox who desire Jesus and follow him by walking after the faith of Abraham
Ave Christus Rex You have a pope, supposedly the Vicar of God Himself, who has taught that there is no hell, that "good" people go to heaven and "bad" people just cease to exist after death, that atheists go to heaven, and that homosexuality is basically ok as long as the person is "good". As far as divorce and remarriage, don't even go there while the Catholics have their annulment factory up and running. Not to mention the current pope questioning the Catholic ban on remarried, non annulled Catholics receiving Catholic communion.

When I go this year in Belgrade I go to cathedral church in the center.... I like to see people how believe in God and especially teenagers... I went to the liturgy in Sunday and every afternoon has liturgy for two ours....... This is our loved martyr pain Orthodox religious..... We suffer from turks communists phanatical people..... But in the end the Orthodox faith survival from all this bad thing..... We must have faith in the Lord..... Let them some bad priests is humans....... First of all it is not recycled rock music. That Christian rock you are talking about has a deep message and is written by very faithful people who really believe and love God. You have probably never watched any interviews with Christian rock artists, but you are presenting a very demeaning opinion to their address, which isn't fond of any knowledge of the Christian rock trend but on ignorance, and this is why the religious communities struggle and are seen as "brainwashed". Saying this, as a Christian myself.

Many thanks for this glorious compilation, from a recent American convert in Northern California. I moved from hard-core atheism of some fifty years to Greek Orthodoxy this past year, unwillingly, not feeling it necessary, but because God somehow called and compelled me. My faith is strong, sincere, and ever-growing. I play these beautiful chants often during my evening devotions, and as I read the Scriptures and the writings of our Church Fathers. All Orthodox are my brothers and sisters, whatever Patriarchal politics may say, and however we may diverge on some issues. Greek, Russian, Serbian, Ethiopian, Indian, Antiochan, etc., we remain the oldest, truest form of our faith, and I join with all of you in love and in Christ.
Wonderful to hear Christ called you. He did the same to me 6 years ago, although I wasn’t atheist, but I wasn’t a true Christian. I love the writings of the saints also, St Silouan is my favourite. I feel a real kinship to his writings. God bless you.
