That is a good idea. I am trying to have the mentality that they are better framed than in the closet. I need to get over the cutting fear. I want them hung!!!
Congrats on finishing our Strawberrie Sampler.....I think you should leave it as is until or if you should find another frame that you might like better....that is all. Your Strawberry Fields finish is beautiful! I stitched one Paula Vaughan piece about 25 years ago - maybe it’s time to quilt. I think Kathy Barrick will notice a spike in her sales thanks to your Barrick Bonanza! I just ordered 2 patterns.
I had several Paula Vaughn patterns in the 80's and 90's. One of them I stitched, matted and framed. I stitched half of another PV pattern, and then somewhere along the way I fell out of love with that style for my home. I actually put both of those in the Goodwill bag and donated them and gave away all my PV patterns too. Now of course, I wish I had not done so. I particularly loved Summer Breeze, and it was the only pattern I kept for many years but eventually knew I would not stitch it either, so I gave it away. :( I wish I still had it. I would just look at it every now and then, if nothing else. It was a beautiful pattern.
I totally know what you mean about just looking at it. I have lots of different patterns that I know I won't stitch, but they make me happy to look at.

Your Strawberry Fields looks great! Those little balls of cotton in your thrift store stash are likely DMC Perle cotton. Victoria Sampler uses them quite a bit in their charts. And I'm sure anyone would love to have a stitched piece from you.
Confession time: I've never put my initials or a finish year on anything I've ever finished. When I die and my stuff hits the thrift stores, I'm going to be an enigma! :P

Haha thank you!!! My eyebrows and my lips are the two parts of my body I am never mean to. I wish I could love all of me the way I love my lips and my eyebrows!!! They are both from my mom. I do pluck them a little and use an eyebrow pencil from MAC called spiked. I just put a tiny bit at the start of my eyebrows.
