This cover was performed on the PARTY PEOPLE show. PARTY PEOPLE was a talk/music show hosted by JYP, the CEO of JYP Entertainment, one of the "Big 3" K-Pop companies. JYP is a singer/writer/producer, he's the guy with short hair that they cut to during the performance. BLACKPINK also performed a medley of their hits as well as a short dance cover to Beyoncé's PARTITION. JYP asked them about the SURE THING cover. During the members' six-year-long training they had monthly evaluations. Every month they had to perform a solo song, a group song and a group choreography for the CEO and all of the company's producers. As the group didn't have their own songs yet they had to perform covers of other artists, both K-Pop and Western. The SURE THING cover was one that their CEO had praised them on so they felt that it was a good choice to perform on the television show. Jennie and Lisa added their own rap verse at the end.
Jisoo(the voice you liked) - she is the lead vocalist and the main visual of BP and she is also an actress. Lisa- the best dancer of the kpop industry right now, she is the lead rapper and main dancer. Jennie- the Main rapper of the group Rosé- Main Vocalist and the lead dancer
They did this cover for the first time in one of the monthly evaluations when they steel where trainees, it was the first time the CEO/Producer complimented them, so it became an especial song for them.
That "main>lead" ranking stuff was just made up by some fans who spammed it all over social media in 2016 so much that a lot of people and Kpop websites mistakenly think that it's real (even though it's never been confirmed or announced by YG and doesn't make much sense, especially since main and lead are basically synonymous in English when talking about musical roles). (Some people are trying to do the same thing to Babymonster now, even though YG has never officially announced any main/lead position rankings for the group.) In reality, the Blackpink members were never ranked like that. When they debuted, YG simply indicated what type of roles each member would mostly or mainly have in the group. From left to right as they appear in this video, here is exactly how YG introduced their roles when they debuted: Jisoo -- Vocals; Jennie -- Vocals/Rap; Rosé -- Vocals; Lisa -- Rap/Dance. They all do a bit of everything and are talented in each area, but Jisoo and Rosé have mainly focused on singing (vocals); Jennie splits between singing and rapping, but probably does a bit more singing than rapping; Lisa mainly does rapping and behind the scenes she's kind of in charge of helping to polish the group choreography (being recognized as the most experienced and skilled dancer in the group).
Lisa is so swag and she's the rapper, please react her own song "LALISA" and "Money" and her rap in many songs of Blackpink as "Crazy over you, Love to hate me, Boombayah, So hot,.... many more. 🥰🥰

On the surface, they each got a very different vocal tone toward each other, very distinct i'd say, so the more you keep listening to their stuff the quicker you'll get to know the difference between each member in this group Other than that, their facial feature alone should be enough, but i do aware that often times westerners tends to having such a hard time to familiarize themselves with Asian's physical features, But again regardless on that matter, you could always check their official documentary film, kinda an over hour long video, pay attention to the whole scene and best believe me, you'll get even more familiar with each one of them
