Spouse and I were two broke college students who needed to marry for financial aid. We both had debt. Mother had planned my wedding out to the last nit when I was just barely four. 16 years later I was getting married and she pulled out those plans with glee. Hard stop. Prices she was using she had jotted down at the time from her wedding several years earlier. The budget she planned wouldn’t cover the cost of the flowers. I gave her a list of current prices and she blew it off. I told father, no. I told mother if that was her budget just give it to us to pay off bills-a lot more useful. Later years I have been interference for friends, and ADD black cherry kool-aid mix, one packet, into the red wine and use an unbreakable opaque wine glass when doing the drunken stumble to nail the offending white dress. Aim for just at cleavage line and below and drop hand down to get the dress skirts as well. Wear flats and run like blazes before they recover. MOB in white dress vs me with a double glass of red wine with additives. If the unfortunate had not happened and the FOB met his end the day before, I would have volunteered to be backup in case of an unauthorized white dress adjustment being needed.

My second wedding cost about $100.00. The biggest expense was the wedding cake, a quarter sheet cake with ", It's About Time" and a bride dragging a groom wedding topper. My bouquet, a lovely colorful mix of spring flowers, was about $25.00. My aunt, an actual minister, perform the wedding. My husband bought my engagement and wedding band himself. I paid for everything else. Short, quick and perfect. Much more fun than my first wedding.

She ended things on our one year anniversary trying to pin the reason on me not getting a pack of ramen noodles, but in reality she’d been cheating on me with an ex, who had the nerve to call her on a new number EVEN I didn’t get yet a half hour after she called it quits. This portrayal tracks on similar lines.
Some really great moments of Voice Acting in this one! The sound levels could be a little more consistent, since I had some problems with a few moments being really quiet, and then SUDDENLY SUPER LOUD so it was dangerous to just turn up the volume. But the VA was spot-on with emotions at different points. Excellent work!

You’re not divorced until a judge grants that divorce in court, and it will take nearly a year if it’s uncontested. Time limits, and the courts are so backlogged.
The reality is that Islam, Hindus and Judaism have funerals (when possible) within 24 hours. With Jews, the Sabbath and other religious holidays would always be avoided. I'm guessing this family is Jewish! 😊 In some Asian countries, if uncontested it just needs to be "rubber-stamped" and you're single again!
