I was in college during that time and it was so clear that once the attacks hit, everyone's focused changed. Also, Aaliyah's family was in a lot of pain and just handled her passing differently then Salina's family. Aaliyah's mother, father, and brother really didn't step up to the public eye and do a lot following the months of her passing. I think it was just too painful.
