the way you act, your personality, the way you talk you are more a filipino than a korean, that makes you a FILIPINO.
Or a certified dalagang Pilipina
yeah, her pesonalty is more of a filipina than Korean. I noticed that too❤
You’re funny! Cute too! So don’t worry about what you are.
Who support cancel korea
YOU ARE FILIPINA. hahaha dugo mo Korean pero with Filipino upbringing. .
i say that you are a FILIPINA, a beautiful Batangueña.
I can relate so much with your struggles. My parents are Korean and I was born in PH. Lived here for 20 years. I've grown up speaking in Korean with my parents, study english in school, and talk Eng-Filipino with Filipino friends. It's quite frustrating sometimes but at the end of the day, I feel blessed. :)
You'll always have a home here in the PH!
❤ natutuwa ako s iyo,😊 everytime n pinapanood kita ...Gandang korean and Filipina k para s akin ....
14:25 FYI to non-Filipinos
• Juwonee can be classified as Tagalog based on her tongue and grassroot culture.
• Filipinos believe and uphold tongue (dialect) and grassroot culture (social mindset they embrae), not race, in determining native class. Eg, an Ilocano father (northerner) and Cebuano mother (Southerner) can have Tagalog children.
• Juwonee is an ethnic Korean. ✔️
Juwonee is Tagalog by tongue and grassroots. ✔️
Juwonee is therefore a Tagalog- Korean. ✔️
Also, Tagalogs do not identify themselves as "Tagalog" but through their home province. Since Juwon is from Batangas, then she's a Batangueña.
I've only called myself Tagalog with a foreigner. I was explaining the etymology of the name.
It's trippy when you meet any non-Filipino with perfect Tagalog. A lot of Filipino kids born in the Philippines these days don't even speak Tagalog.
Ang isa sa pagiging Pilipino ay nasa puso..di lang sa lahi..pusong pinoy ka juwonee..not to mention isa kang KABATANG..🧡🇵🇭😊
Doesn't matter whether you identify as a Korean or a Filipino. You are special, you are exposed to different cultures growing up which means you have a greater understanding of others beliefs, attitudes, and behavior. You are more accepting and sensitive to different cultures. You are you and you are AWESOME.
Your more of a tagalog
😂😂😂Sip sip
In sociology, you are called a "third culture child". meaning you belong in a culture (korean) but grew up in another culture (filipino). thus the onset struggle - cuture shock, etc. 😊
You're a true blooded Pinoy by heart & soul for me. Pinay na pinay ka na kasi you embraced the Filipino culture. ❤❤❤
I also have a korean friend and the respect I have for you guys who were kind of forced to learn 2 languages at the same time. HUGE RESPECT talaga, grabe.
FYI - anyone in the Philippines outside Metro manila are always forced to learn more than 2 languages.
Do you have respect for FILIPINO guys who are also forced to learn 2 languages because they don't normally speak Tagalog?
The OP means...they have to learn 2 languages (aside their mother tongue hangul)!what he means is Korean suppose to learn Filipino and English.
@@calem018 exactly the same for a whole lot of people outside metro manila
@@calem018 We know what you mean. We Bisaya people still have to learn tagalog as it is not our mother tongue, along with English.
Hi, Juwon, I understand where you’re coming from. I’m a Filipina born & raised here in the U.S. and MUCH older than you (hoy, I’ll be 60 soon!). I don’t speak Tagalog regularly, pero naintindihan ko kasi my parents spoke to us in Tagalog but did not enforce that we answer in Tagalog, so English ang sumagot ko. And it doesn’t help that I inherited my great-grandfather’s Chinese looks (ang mga Pinoy sinasabi maliit ang mata ko pero I tell them Pinoy ang ilong ko, look, look!) so people don’t identify me as Pinay. “You’re Chinese, right? Or Japanese or Korean, or .” Heck, they’ll even guess Hawaiian BEFORE FINALLY guessing Filipino! 😂 An elderly Chinese woman even yelled at me for not speaking Chinese because she said, “Oh, you are Chinese, you need to speak Chinese!” 😮 The “Taga saan ka?” question pops up a lot when I speak to older Filipinos (yung mga titas, titos, nanays, etc.), then having to explain I was born in the States and then identify where my parents came from in P.I., it’s a lot to explain and I have to do it EVERY TIME. And not being 100% fluent in Tagalog, speaking Taglish is my only option when speaking to my “countrymen”. Are they even my countrymen? Since all my cousins, aunts & uncles live in P.I. and are Filipino, can I claim mga Pinoy as my countrymen? Are the U.S. people my countrymen? I’m sure you see my quandary. Anyhoo, I enjoy your videos, I can identify with them, you speak much better Tagalog than I can, and I love hearing you speak Tagalog/Filipino-style English/Korean, it makes me smile and want to be with my extended family there. Don’t get discouraged, you are a gem!
Maarte ka,
@@ginmawri wow demanding yan? lool
I have the same experience they thought im chinese since i was a kid and growing up although i have chinese ancestry we dont practice chinese culture more likely filipino culture the sad part when you look different they double the price of pretty much everything specially in the local market lol
You're good keep it up
@@quenchtv5436I'm from a Philippine provincial city.. here when you look Chinese.. you'll get a better price or discount if you ask.. Majority of the business owners and residents of our downtown area and business district are majority of Chinese descent..
Embracing Filipino culture, speaking our language and being Filipino by heart makes you a Filipino.
So true. Kahit Dito Siya lumaki sa bansa natin. She is a pure Korean.
Hi Juwon😉 You’re a Korean by blood but Pinoy at heart ❤️ since you’ve lived long enough in the Philippines, you have transformed into a Filipina - characterized by your actions/ways, values and speech 😂😂😂 and we have adopted you already 🥰 We love you as a KoPino/ KoPinay?😁
Kaya lagi pinapanood kaagad... good vibes at pampatanggal pagod... hehe
Kung dito ka sa Pilipinas lumaki at nakuha mo ang kultura at language at Philippine citizen ka, you should have no hesitation to say you are Filipino because you are.
You're right. But she didn't apply to be naturalize Filipino. South Korea don't hold dual citizenship.
@@tzaddigurl Then she's not Filipino but a Korean who grew up in the Philippines. I hope she doesn't feel pressured to think she's Filipino.
@@parasoul26I didn't convey what I mean. I know that she is not PH citizen but from SK. What I mean is if she wants to become Filipino I think she can, she immersed herself in our culture well and can speak Filipino. If she chose to become a Filipino she have to give up her SK nationality because SK don't allow dual citizenship unfortunately.
You are a Filipina by heart. Filipinos are mixed and multiracial. keep it up and be proud of who you are and your background.
3:04 Meteor Garden (2001) was the Taiwanese drama that is based on the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers), which also spawned a Japanese drama and Korean drama of the same name, Chinese remake of Meteor Garden, and a Thai version of Boys Over Flowers. Meteor Garden was integral to the boom of the popularity of Asianovelas in the Philippines.
The cast of the 2001 Meteor Garden went on to be popular boy band in Asia using their group name from the manga F4 as their band name, until they had to change it to JVKV, the initialisms of each of the member's names (Jerry, Vic, Ken, Vaness) due to copyright issues with Shueisha, the copyright holder of Hana Yori Dango. One of their most notable songs was the Mandarin version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" recorded for the Asian version of the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack.
Don't think that you are not pretty Juwon because you compare yourself with the Idols. I've been to South Korea, you are more beautiful than most of the Koreans I've met and saw back then. Korea is a beautiful place especially in fall season. Wonderful Memories.😊❤
You are unique and very distinctive from other people which is very very good because you are not a cookie-cutter and boring just like everybody else. You are very lucky to have a multi-cultural background which made you who you are right now. Embrace it and enjoy it. Not all people appreciate what they have and never know who they really are unlike you! Keep it up and you will have a very bright future ahead of you! Love your vlogs! Very funny and witty. 😊
Agree 💯
You feel more Filipina to me. Astig ka girl Tropang Tropa mode. Hihihi
Pinoy sa puso yan ang mahalaga you belong with us..physical features not important.. 🤗
In short, we are a product of circumstances. Anyeong :)
malunggay....Moringa...And you are the Gorgeous product of two Beautiful cultures.....You are both Korean and Pinay.
Make it simple, you’re both. Practice the good parts of both culture. Keep your friends close, and everything will be fine
Yay thanks sa bagong content
No Skip Ads team ako basta para sa iyo juwonee❤❤❤❤
Hello, Juwonee! I really love and appreciate your positive personality. Perhaps, you are unaware that you have been transmitting good vibes to your viewers - subscribers or not.
On the other note, I was once one of the stay-in educators for Korean students who visited the Philippines for a month-long English camp.
Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you and your loved ones.
😇👍❤️👍😇
i really like the way you talk about this topic, its funny and real. love watching your vids!!
You are exquisite pure Filipina fluent in tagalog than Korean. You 're half phil. & half korean
100% agree with you regarding language. My close friend grew up in Iligan and her mother tongue is Cebuano/Bisaya. She's fluent in Tagalog, English, and Cebuano, but to this day, sometimes she still has to stop and think, how to translate some words in Tagalog. e.i. the word Puhon. You'll hear this to most cebuano speaker but there's no one exact word that directly translate this in Tagalog. Puhon means God willing somewhat like Inshallah in Arabic.
I speak English, Tagalog, and Davao bisaya, yep it's difficult to translate stuff sometimes especially words and phrases that I haven't heard or used in a long time. But my mom and lola had it worse, they speak English, Tagalog, Davao bisaya, and Illonggo.
I like you Juwon because you are funny, and you are being true to yourself 😁
I love the way you talk, natural Filipino intonation... Loved it ❤
I am batangueña❤❤❤ that's why i love juwonee,walang kaarte arte ,chill lng.barako magsalita😂😂😂
you were Korean by race ...but a Filipino by heart♥ and we love you always ...
Korean is an ethnic group, within the Asia race. Not a race of itself.
Just be yourself, love yourself, don’t mind what others think of you. You are beautiful, smart, and stay kind.💜☝🏼🥰
You are who you are and love that being the person you became embracing both cultures you grew up with😊❤
I love this video. You made me laugh. God bless Juwonee!
shet dami kong natututunan through you Juwon!!! Keep making Q&A vids!!! To me they are all very interesting and entertaining and informative!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Si Jumong at si Jang Geum talaga nagsimula ng lahat eh haha, and if nalilito ka, you're a Filipina who happens to be Korean
🤔🤨
Galing mo day..nkkatuwa ..very kyut
You really impressed me with your Filipino accent. I am one of those who got addicted to Korean dramas and my NO.1 favorite Korean actress is Ha Ji Won. I have watched almost all of her films and my favorites are Secret Garden, Empress Ki, King of 2 Hearts and more.
Juwonee never mong iisipin na "tinimbang ka ngunit kulang". Your identity is complete. ❤
Kudos to you, I enjoyed this vlog. Annyeong! 😊
Juwonee idol,, pls put subs if you're going to speak korean,, at least we'll learn a few words from you from time to time,, cute mo mag korean, astig mo mag batangeña, fluent mo mag tagalog.,, ❤❤❤❤❤thanks😍
Nakkatuwa at very entertaining ka Juwonee. U r very natural.
Many celebrities in the world have a lot done on their faces. So the Kpop girl you mentioned doesn't look anything like the locals here in Korea and the same in PH, but both countries have their natural beauties. I think you're pretty and fun to watch. As for asking where you're from, simply say, 'I'm from Earth'. Thank you for being an awesome person!
This is cool to watch!!
You are awesome!
Hello Ms. Juwon, new subscriber here 😊 I came across the 2nd part of this video (I believe) first and since I really enjoyed it, it led me here... 😊 Kakatuwa talaga ang 'yong pagka-pinoy, lutang na lutang sa pananalita at personality 😊 As a Filipino, it's heartwarming to see foreigners speak the Filipino (Tagalog) language fluently ❤ You may be a Korean national but living/growing up in the Philippines has made you embrace the Filipino culture and shaped you the way you are 😊 I believe it's a blessing that you share both cultures (Korean and Filipino) and that makes you real amazing! 😊
WOWWW! I'm so proud to have you as my 'kababayan'! Ang galing mong mag-ngas-ngas ng Batangueno expression in a very natural way! Hige kabayan, asbok laang! Salamat.
I'm a new Subscriber. Watched several of your videos. And I like them. Thanks for lighting up my days, Mabuhay ka!

ang cutie mo magsalita ,,love watching how you speak pati gestures
Hi, Juwon. Anyong nga saeyo! I am your new subscriber. I watched your vlogs before and I really like how you promote the Philippines in all aspects. Kamsa ham nida! When I was in the U.S. Navy, our carrier visited Busan twice and we didn't have any problems whatsoever associating with the locals. When I became a civilian 4 years later, I had a job in the technical field and I was sent to Seoul for a month to aid our counterparts there. They were so generous and accommodating every which way while knowing that I am a Filipino-descent living in California. Your video contents are very good, please keep it up. Kamsaham nida!
You are so beautiful ate juwonee!
Nakakatuwa ka naman iha,, galing mo...
This girl is sooo cute and funny. This is why you're getting more followers, it's coz you're so natural and authentic, whether pinoy or korean, You yourself is charming already. 😊😊
