I love the El Camino. That is a beautiful SS. My Pa-Pa owned 2 of them while I was growing up. The first was a 70 SS 396, black with red trim. My brother and I loved cruising in that thing, put the boat in the back and going fishing in and around the Lafayette, LA area. Great times!
I have a 1968 El Camino SS 396. 1968 was the last year did the SS was a model starting a 1969 it became an option . This El Camino has the 1968 tailgate and rear bumper. A 1969 El Camino has a tailgate with backup lights in it. Not in the bumper. Also it's missing it's marker lights on the sides . This one is definitely what we would call a Resto mod. however this is one fine looking El Camino they must have dumped 100,000 in this one doing the restoration. It totally is an amazing vehicle whoever does purchases vehicle is getting a vehicle that's going to last for many years

Chevrolet should have never stopped using that front end.The front of the late 60's chevelles and El Caminos were just beautiful.

A beautiful car for sure. The wheels need to go though. Something more time period correct as far as size. Maybe 15 inch centerlines or Cragers
They screwed it all up by putting a lowering kit on it .
