- This video will show you how to create realistic beaches in Cities Skylines 2 using my new custom texture packs Golden And White Sand Beaches and Riverbeds which are available now along with all Extra3.0 Assets on PDX mods.
Various packs of decals and surfaces include Beaches, Riverbeds, Cracks and Damage, Stains and Leakage, Sea Foam, Graffiti and much more.

Looks like CS2 is finally starting to get back on its feet, thanks to modders, hope this helps encourage the devs in their work with improving the game. And I am hopeful that by the end of the year CS2 will finally be the game we all wanted to see upon release.

Amazing! With PDX mods not allowing larger files to be uploaded will that be a problem do you think? Will they change the limit to allow the larger 4k files i see that being a problem down the road if they don't.

The tree brush neeeeeds to have toggles for random rotations. Would make the process so much quicker.

This is amazing, thank you for your hard work.
But i have one issue, when i want to do this in the editor to create a highly detailed map, i just cant overlap the decals because they will just disappear 😢
Do you know if there will be a way to NOT update CS2 once the editor drops? Id love to keep my mods still working until all are updated
Although visually impressive, I have concerns about the long-term impact of filling the map with an excessive amount of decals. Adding details is beneficial, but going too far may not be ideal.

Everyone’s set up and situation is different based on PC spec and project. I can only reference my own, but I’ve never noticed any fps drop from all the thousands of props I place. However if you’re trying a build a city with a few hundred thousand people then maybe don’t do this. It’s up to you mate! 👍
@@sully_skylines yes yes, of course, everyone should use it according to their own needs, I was thinking in the long run you know, how this kind of "modding" can impact save games and overall gameplay, considering there are plenty of mods that add lots of extras, anyway it was me thinking out loud.

Why were the trees disappearing when you were placing the “grass sprites” ?
Because those trees wernt placed with anarchy, they were original trees which came with map. If I placed with anarchy they wouldn’t delete 👍

We need animated decals.. so the shore is actually working.
Custom animation isn’t supported yet in CS2 however know when it is, I will totally be animating these 🤩

You need to use the snap to surface toggle 👍 it’s where all the other snapping options are

@@user-vt1jw7lx5y there’s a lot of videos on YT from creators using the snap to surface feature, and can see what they’re doing. Try Biffa’s video or Slay3K has a nice short one to watch also 👍
This is nice to have, but it's gotta be the most inefficient way to do this. The game needs a surface painter tool for sure.

This looks fantastic. However, I don't know why but none of these mods work for me 😢
I have installed them with all their dependencies, restarted the game many times, but they are not there.
I have also tried removing all other mods and only use this, but no luck.
Other mods work fine.

I have a dilema on making american intersections, do you have any insight on how to make american style intersections with deticated left and right turning lanes, or we should just simply waite for more mods. I really want to ask if anyone had an issue with the surfaces not working? I can't get any of these to work..
They stopped working for me last night. Hoping to find a solution as I no longer have my pretty beaches and river surfaces :(
They’re all fixed now! EAI had an update yesterday and I didn’t know and surfaces broke. But about 4-5 hours ago I fixed both PDXMods and my local 4K versions. So all should be fine now 👍
