Absolute genius, returning Homer's rarely but fondly remembered action heroism along with Hank Scorpio only to turn it into a Die Hard tale and then into a dark comedy ending was a magnificent work. Why didn't they think of this before?
I love how no explanation is given for Hank’s plot other than that he’s evil. As a side note, it was a little odd to see almost exclusively HD clips for the first 30 seconds! Regardless, definitely one of your best, which is saying a lot!
There wasn't even supposed to be a Russ Cargill. It was supposed to be Hank Scorpio himself, but the Simpsons writers have become slaves to the test audience and the almighty dollar, so that's why we can't have nice things.
Hank Scorpio and Frank Grimes were both great one time characters in completely different ways. I also love that bow tie wearing donkey from "Jaws Wired Shut".

At first I thought Homer was having a good healthy lifestyle because Hank became his boss at the power plant. But then it turns out they hate each others do death-
You can say a lot about Hank Scorpio's villainous deeds, but not many villains would be willing to stay at ground zero setting people on fire by himself to ensure Springfield was destroyed.

Love the transition where Homer beats the last terrorist and Hank, in an upbeat attitude, says "hi Homer."

Up until the end Homer was actually really brave and heroic in this Dark Simpsons episode. I thought he was going to become a straight up action hero.
