- Our first visit here and wow, what a fantastic heritage railway this is, the extra cost of the bay window in the Pullman observation coach was worth every penny but has to be booked early to get it, the locos are a masterpiece of engineering when seen up close, super friendly staff on the railway too, the scenery on the two hour plus journey to Porthmadog is just stunning.
A YMT production.

Amazing
Many thanks friend ^___^
Hello Mal, a very nice model of a Garratt as if from a metal kit. These originals are just great, I've seen some Ffestiniog / Welsh Highland Railway videos on Eisenbahnromantik. But they weren't as close as yours. An interesting locomotive was the BALNCHE. Great video, thanks for sharing and the amazing pictures of the Garratt locomotives and the beautiful scenery. Best regards, Wolfgang
Hello Wolfgang, the metal model was donated to the railway by the wife of the man who made it who had passed away, the Garratts are amazing how they bend in the middle to go around tight curves, glad you liked the video my friend and thanks, take care...Mal
Thumbs up!
Many thanks ^___^
