Nice smooth videos. I cycle around 6000km per year in Tokyo and intake the scenery for granted a lot. I’ve ridden along every single street you filmed in Ginza but didn’t think anyone would be interested in seeing it.
Your bike is nice and quiet, my rear hub makes a lot of noise (which I like) but can’t hear yours at all.
I really want to live there.. :(
Even though it's better than USA, Tokyo doesn't have cycle infrastructure. It has a long way to go to undo decades of building for cars, but it's much better positioned than NYC is.
I enjoyed the biking series a lot. Not too fast, not too slow :) thank you for making these!

Beautiful morning light! I love tokyo but i think this city is not so friendly towards cycling. You have to cycle on the edge of car lanes.
bike lanes abused by motorists , like everywhere in the World.
Actually no bicycle lanes. You just ride at the edge of car lanes. I think Shanghai is more friendly to bicycles. There are always bicycle lanes (separated by solid white lines) on even narrow streets.

Why didn't you use the footpath? Cycles were allowed there as well.
It is allowed but the pedestrians walking there wouldn't feel comfortable
Riding at the edge of car lanes is principle, riding on the sidewalk is exception. -- Japanese traffic law
