I really like this song however it is really representative of the advantage being taken of Ethiopia as the the song is presented without giving any credit to Miswani (one of the amazing Ethiopian artists who sings and maybe even was part of the production in the song). I also have a question: yes I see you always walk “bebado iger” (barefoot) staying that this out of respect for the sacred Zion land, however you also bike? 🤣 What’s the difference between wearing shoes and biking with bare-feet? ... Born and raised in Ethiopia, I see and feel most of the “so called Rastas” are advantage takers of Ethiopians, the culture, land & our king of kings’ gift. The current state of Shashamani, for example, is corrupt and unsafe vs years back when it was welcoming, safe, inspiring and beautiful. If you can sing about Ethiopia being the promised land, it would be important and more powerful if you were to treat it as such by being actively working towards its evolution back to a sacred, powerful holy place.
I think it would be best if you speak to Miswani about this and if Miswani would like a credit in the description then I can add one. However I don't see the point of you and I talking about other people without them.
Andy Siege FYI Miswani is my friend since high school. He handed me the audio as soon as he received it and been playing it.... Also we talked about this video when it was released with out even letting him know you guys are shooting it! The point is not asking credit for it NOW! ( I don’t think if’s supposed be asked, credit is credit! I don’t believe even in buying and selling it) We’ve infinite culture and history with beautiful language to share with the world but put the selfishness aside and grow together!

Dear sir. This is Andy the director of the video. By no means is anyone taking advantage of anyone.
Andy Siege Can you explain where Miswani is in the video or his credit at the very least in the description ?
I think it would be best if you speak to Miswani about this and if Miswani would like a credit in the description then I can add one. However I don't see the point of you and I talking about other people without them.
