Came here just after finishing the cellist of Sarajevo and honestly I'm getting emotional.
I spend my days laying on the floor looking and at the sky, humming this piece of art since the day I heard it for the first time...
Gerardo Panqué i really like your comment.
Gerardo Panqué watch the movie Manchester by the bay. A movie fit for an Oscar for all its cast members
Timeless music..... Delicious
The words "beautiful" and "tragic" don't often go together. They fit this song, though. They fit it so heart-wrenchingly well.
So beautiful, it almost made me cry. Thank you, James Thomas.
I came here because of The Cellist of Sarajevo as well. It was phenomenal, as is this.
I am playing the Cellist of Sarajevo in a school play and love this version! It is absolutely perfect to practice from :P
i literally got all teary eyed listening to this while imagining some of the saddest things that could happen in life that this song portrays perfectly.
the power and emotion behind every bow is just amazing.
i especially like the how the man on the right portrays his emotions though body gestures as well.
Inspiring to all musicians such as my self.
Thanks for this great music
Thanks for the beautiful music.
Bravo
So beautiful...thanks!
Thank you for this good moment.
dude, the pizzicattos of the fourth cello though. Intense sound.
Trivia: used throughout the excellent movie Gallipoli. Great performance!
Amazing sound!!
This is amazing
Beautiful
PARÉ DE TRABAJAR SÓLO PARA VER Y ESCUCHAR ESTA INTERPRETACIÓN... GRACIAS!
Belíssimo. Maravilhoso. Grandíssimo Albinoni!
Si Yes .....
Adagio in G-minore (1958.) - Remo Giazotto (generosamente atributo a Tomaso Albinoni /velikodušno pripisano Tomasu Albinoniju)
„È una specie di inno non ufficiale, per noi futuri morti, che abbiamo ordinato a un certo momento dagli attuali viventi, per tutta l'eternità e per tutti gli uomini.“
„To je svojevrsna nezvanična himna nas budućih mrtvih, koju smo u jednom trenutku naručili od trenutno živih, za cijelu vječnost i sve ljude.“
Beautiful story The cellist of Sarajevo. Albonini adagio is heartbreaking and moving. Wars destroys not only cultures but souls. In Iraq, Karim Wasfi, conductor of the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra, at his home in Baghdad, has been playing his cello at the sites of explosive attacks in Baghdad. ... The renowned conductor of the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra has been appearing at the sites of explosions.
Whoever cares about those shitholes
Lest we forget.
Bravissimo! :D
Realmente hermoso. Encontré esta composición gracias al libro "El violonchelista de Sarajevo"

Lol I came here because I'm reading the book for my English exam, a beautiful piece indeed
+somehulabaloo I read it, and I wanted to hear and feel how the song is to me
exactly...
If you love this music make sure to see the new picture book, "Flowers for Sarajevo" written by John McCutcheon and illustrated by Kristy Caldwell.
How on earth have 36 people thumbed down? Insanity.
Is the score for 4 cellos available anywhere?
I, too would like to find this score for our cello quartet.
If you want, go to ytmp3.cc/en13/ , paste the link of this video, convert it, download it. There’s also an option for mp4 if you want the video too
Amazing. Can anyone direct me to where I can find the score for this arrangement?
You might want to google it
1:18 cellissimo!
Who is the arranger?
start quickly, it may take over 20 years to master..
Sarajevo...
5:25 sounds like that song from Zelda
I came here searching cello adagio...
Are you me?
Very beautiful, but I think the arranger changed the most important parts of the song...very beautiful but the piece became awkward at times.
Sorry but this doesnt sound cohesive
