I had the LV Alma BB (bought in boutique) in Damier Ebene, and sold it last year. I just never enjoyed using it, and the DE version felt cheap to me. I just purchased the Coach Revel 24 in black leather for under $300 and I love it so much more. First off it is nice leather, the strap is much better quality. The lock and details are adorable, and the tan microfiber like lining feels so much better, I can see👀 the bag. It is also a tad larger and fits everything more easily. If I want to sell, I will be able to get a couple hundred without the hassle of selling a luxury good.

I sold my alma BB - I'd had it for 3/4 years and just purchased the coach revel , I have to say I actually like the revel more. I know the fabric is different I had the monogram alma and now a leather revel , but I love it. it feel great

I have the red Alma BB in epi leather but if I didn't it, I would definitely hop on the Coach Revel train, in particular the full leather version (specificially, the stunning vibrant electric blue that's on sale for C$336!). In saying that, the LV epi leather has served me very well - hardly any scratches (only small scratchers on the smooth base and well, lots of scratches on the hardware including the lock). I love my Alma BB but with LV's annual (and sometimes bi-annual) price increases, I'm getting priced out of being to afford them unless I go the pre-loved route.
I can forsee maybe having to baby the Coach Revel smooth leather version, but at that price point, discount or not, is a complete steal and a great way to add a pop of colour!

I received a Coach Revel from zappo's in terrible condition, so many scratches. I returned as they were only willing to offer a 20% discount
