After covering the basics last week, it’s time to move on to setting snapping properties. We’re focusing on ‘gravity’ and ‘occlusion’ so you can learn how to control your snapping strength and what components are considered snappable targets.
This tutorial is number 25 of 54 in our Core Essentials course. Subscribe to our channel to get the next videos in this TH-cam mini-series over the coming month, or skip the waiting and head straight to Hipflask to get all 5 hours of Core Essentials for free.

There is a way to do things like this in SOP level? th-cam.com/video/L1Fs3FAsmOk/w-d-xo.html
That's the MODO modeling mode which is the equivalent to SOP level I guess.
Unrotator and align is something that I miss a lot

Hi Carlos, The align state and orientation picking tool will give you some of the functionality of that script. In this video th-cam.com/video/Zh6Q6r9LQlA/w-d-xo.html, I show using it at the object level but it works in the same way at the geometry level and you can use it on individual components. Use it in combination with the construction plane to align geo to the axes of your geometry container.
