Well, as to my understanding: Beyblades (in the metal series) originated from astromaterials, when a dying star crashed into Earth like a meteorite. The materials/substance from space could very well be beyond the periodic table. Whenever mentioned in the series, the metal 'fusion' wheel and energy ring components, are never specified as to what actual metal/materials they are. Therefore, the beys are most likely super strong.
I would assume that many beyblades globally were manufactured by normal Earth resources too afterwards, since we do see Beyblades shatter during the saga (even Ryuga crushing one with his foot) This could be for the reason that Beyblade became a sport - and so making genuine strong beyblades a limited and ancient resource. Only People with power/money would be able to get their hands on it (Like a stock market) Unless they, as many of the actual characters, had held onto the beyblades for generations. Therefore, my guess is that many "frankenstein" beyblades exists in this anime universe - Basically, my take would be that they could mix an original 'energy ring' with the power of the original star fragment along with a simple metal fusion wheel & spintrack/tip made out of materials like steel, vanadium, iron etc. (Would keep the cost down too)
This also supports the line of the character Dashan Wang saying: "L-Drago.. What a bey he has!?" after Ryuga takes a massive hit and it all had no effect. - 'Beyblade Metal Masters: The Dragon Emperor Descends - Ep.93'.

Well in the show one of the things lights often praise lights Community is that it gives Focus two not just the main character but does what other shows won't do. And that is also give a focus to its antagonist nsca the champ said and don't let them become sorry. And how do they do that they make him integral part of the show while also sticking to what they established the main antagonist is the best blader out of everyone. Because the final season where he does get his lick back the season before that they basically established that the main character knew he was not actually better then Ryuga. Literally in the second season bro goes on a whole training art looking for him for inspiration to battle against so he basically knows the composition he has gone against is nothing new to him. And then technically tells him bro you beat me why are you losing to other niggas
