A friend of mine got his sister's hand me down Honda scooteraround 1995. We were 14 at the time. We'd mess with it every day after school to get that extra 0.0026hp out of it. We stripped every single milligram of weight off it as well. And every time we did, it felt like a massive accomplishment. This looks like the same sort of thing, probably futile, but fun.

I’m so glad you’re working on the t4e line, I can’t wait till you crack the code and give us 20j 43 cals

I am trying. I think 15j might be the limit for the stock length barrel though.

Hi Shaun, regarding the damaged valve. I’ve done the same thing on my first attempt. You can fix it. Put the valve in a drill. Ideally a pillar drill or have the drill fixed in a vice or something. With the drill on, spinning the valve, use a fine needle file to carefully smooth out that top lip. Then finish using 2000 grit wet and dry paper. Then polish with metal polish and a cotton bud. Think you guys in the US call them something different. It works!!

Thanks Waxmax. So after you did this repair was that little lip (edge) still present on the face? I mean as long as the face is uniform it should still seal?

@@lesslethalfordummies yes absolutely. It was all ok. The other thing I noticed works (slightly different situation) if it does not seal properly against the rubber/plastic seal, use a hairdryer on the valve and seal. Get nice and hot and then press the two together and twist as pushing in. Again, works great with no leaks. Those valves are a sod to drill. I used a vice to hold the valve with loads of tape around it to protect it, and because the holes are so small and even the slightest movement will break the drill bit, I tied some rope around the drill so it was supported from above. It made it much easier to keep the drill dead steady whilst drilling. Takes ages to start the hole but it will suddenly happen.

Hello replace your seal with an O-ring located on the valve cap. Being more flexible it will correct the deformation on your valve. I had the same problem. it should work.

Ouch. Thats to bad. But you can try and smooth out the rim with a wet&dry sandpaper. Put it in the drill and with the sandpaper wrapped around a small file you can gently sand down the rim. I think it will work 🤔

I was afraid of that. ;-[ ... .. ... you should design your own mag w/ a whole different valve and get Florien to manufacture it.

I'm not sure why you are so hung up on these things lately lol.....
"Okay today folks, we have the ultra strong, double dense, super saiyan power spring with a double McTwist side ported venturi bolt installed in this 43 cal....... let's see what she does on the chronie......
.....Ooooooh 9.35 joules, we're off to the races folks!!" 😂
I wouldnt use one of these things..... ever. I'm trying to stop someone, not piss them off for what amounts to stinging them with a BB gun.
