"The more white you look, the more right you look" is a stigma on all races. We have to realize our flavor is what makes us interesting and more than good enough. If someone doesn't like you cause you don't have Euro features.....oh the hell well. The right people will see you and lift you up. I find men of all races attractive even the ones who probably wouldn't look my way once lol but I can appreciate without feeling left out. Sometimes you have to ask yourself why does it matter if a "white model" will date you? Do you feel it will boost your status? Will it change you in anyway? Are you looking for love or acceptance?
My big motto is being able to physically, mentally, and socially project/empower yourself on an individual level to "cast a wider net" while then subsequently "spinning plates." "Finding the one" is a meaningless endeavor that will leave you unfulfilled. Once you are fulfilled on an internal level with the right strategies/connections, the "candidates" will funnel in.
Listen .. I'm into asian guys but I'm not into those k pop looking dudes ..I actually prefer normal down to earth Asian guys.. there's someone for everyone lol and also don't be afraid to take chances with women from different ethnic backgrounds.
just focus on self-improvement, like personality, and big arms, and get sleep too because sleep correlates to height growth. teeth whiteners, acne cream. just look good and be fit
This was interesting to watch. As a black woman who has lived in Asian neighborhoods in California, I have some experience being around Asian guys. I would say the “model” clean cut types were more popular and the ones that have more “swag”. Not sure why white women were the only females mentioned (other races of women exist lol) but I’ve seen Asian guys pull all races, including black women which are harder because we tend to like masculine men. I think if a guy is confident, takes care of his appearance, and is not SUPER short, he has a chance with any race of women…the K-pop boys aren’t my type either so there are women out there who don’t like that 🙏🏽 This was a great discussion ☺️
Why only white women, I've met regular and the so called better looking Asian men who only like Black or Latino women. I've dated both, from a 5'4" Vietnamese man to a nerdy Chinese 5'9" guy to a model looking airplane pilot who was Korean and 6'2" . To me, if his confidence in himself is complete and he's not full of himself, we can date. I've dated Asian guys who were older than me and one who was 15 years younger than me and he lasted the longest, almost 2 years, until his mother found out the age difference. She was impressed with my title but, she was actually the first Asian mother who didn't really care about me not being Asian, I think she liked my title and the type of person in my sphere, which could have beens me good for her son's career. The older ones, didn't like me being around that many powerful men. Those in my age range only wanted to be with me because of my job and how it could benefit them. But, I know there is one out there who doesn't care about the who and where and what I do for a living and only wants me for me.

I feel like you should just approach and start talking to the girl like a normal human being instead of going into the conversation with preconceived ideas of what she'll think of you. There's always going to be girls that decide not to date you because of your race, height, looks, etc. but you'll never know if you don't at least take the initiative. The victimhood mentality is a self-serving cop out.

Maybe asian dudes do have a disadvantage compared to others but the self defeating attitude of asian guys is probably the biggest factor in why these dudes get rejected. Just put yourself out there. That's your opinion. There are actual statistics on dating apps that show that Asian men (and Black women) profiles get the least "engagement." @@ygui7558 that’s not true at all. A non Asian guy has been turned down by an Asian girl probably 10 times as many times as an Asian guy to a non Asian girl. Do you know why? Because that non Asian dude asks 10 times more. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
I'm Asian and lived in an Asian neighborhood until my mid 20s. Never dated or been attracted to Asian men. Occasionally I'll see a good-looking Asian man, but I'm never attracted to them. My family is very open-minded and I would date any race. I think Asian men are generally kind, loyal, educated and family-oriented, but I think what turns me off sometimes about Asian men from my experience is that they often lack emotional intelligence (which is the sexiest kind of intelligence of them all), have low self-confidence, speak with a blaccent (turn-off, sorry!) and haven't given much thought and/or can't articulate their opinions regarding important matters or their deep personal values. My best friend is Asian, my husband is Indian (so technically Asian), and most of my friends are Asian but 90% of my Asian girlfriends are in mixed race relationships. Ultimately, it is less about race and more about a person-to-person connection. I think people connect based on culture, even if they're different ethnicities. For example, my husband and I are both culturally American even though I'm Chinese and he's Indian. Sincere apologies if I offended anyone.

I grew up my whole life being a 5'5 300lbs Korean Kid and can totally relate to this because the only thing I had to go off was being funny. At 17 I started losing weight and I shot up in height which did change the dating world for me(I finally had one). Now i'm 6'4 and I will tell you from direct experience that almost every woman I have encountered has made a comment on my height and told me later on that if wasn't at least 5'10 I never would've had a shot. Their reasoning was that they want to feel secure with the man they're with and if the man is shorter that feeling goes away. This also goes both ways because if there was a woman who was 6'6 I don't know if that would fall in my range of what I would date

Coming from a guy who's half Viet/half Taiwanese, I gotta say Viets & Filipinos tend to be more charismatic & alpha whereas your coastal ABC like David Fung tend to be poorly calibrated on a social level....and I really don't get it bc I saw so many AM/WF couples in Seattle where the Fungs are from yet they still whine. With that being said, Viets & Filipinos do well here in Dallas but I gotta say ABCs stand out a bit more here & can pack some strong punches here since there's not as many of them. There have been instances where my wing men were just disregarded as "another white guy" whereas the gals immediately gravitated towards myself.
