You guys need to read the comments below the original songs, they contain a lot of info. For instance, Matt Heafy's comment on the song that it's indeed Gerard screaming, Ihsahn doing the guitar solo, and Alex Bent on drums.
Also, if you aren't shy of 9 minute long songs, I really hope you check Resolve's live performance of their album title. You've appreciated the band in two reactions, I wish you dig deeper into their discography.

Alex Bent opened as a prog drummer, which I've been expecting since Triviums last album
If you listen to stuff before The Black Parade Gerard and Frank Iero did a lot of screaming on songs. His cleans definitely improved since then so it's awesome to hear him going back to his roots in a way.
I honestly got a Mikael Akerfeldt vibe early on but the higher pitch gave me Geoff Tate vibes. I also blew my MCR loving girlfriend's mind when I told her that was Gerard on the black metal parts.
Alex bent is drumming for ibaraki and Gerard is the one doing the screaming in this track!
When you were saying about Matt's vocals getting a bit more operatic, I was straight up getting Howard Jones vibes, especially from his Killswitch days

Matt did say that the final couple of tracks on the album (which includes ronin) are a departure from the style of the rest of the album. So this song isn't really a black metal song, hence why it's not what you were expecting. But check out the other 2 singles they have released. They are a lot closer to the normal black metal sound, though still not the "let's record the whole album in 1 take on my phone " quality better known for black metal bands lol

Johnny you're actually spot on with the David drahman comment, David produced trivium's Vengeance falls album and took the time to teach Matt heafy how to control his clean vocals. So yeah he will sound a bit like him

That part around 10th minute (of your video), I think you can hear the trad japanese instrument Matt was showing on his insta, it's called the shamisen. I can be wrong though.

Matt’s voice reminded me of a mixture of Cory Taylor and Bruce Dickinson for sure, so many vibes during the song as well! Fully agree with you guys when you said Dream Theatre in the middle section, interesting song and I think I liked it lol

The singer (clean vocals) sounds like the singer of Poets of the Fall.
1000% my first thought.
the vocals in that first verse (and I guess the chorus?) sound a lot like Poets of the Fall, granted I've only ever heard their song "Carnival of Rust". But I can definitely hear some Disturbed in there, too
The music during the cleans does sound like Disturbed, even a little FFDP. But vocals, nope. I don't know if you know that that is Matt Heafy from Trivium, here. Marko Saaresto from Poets of the Fall has a heavier baritone, a similar falsetto, but still distinct, even on Carnival of Rust.
The first section and the more operatic sounding vocal reminded me of a modern Mikael Åkerfeldt from Opeth.

Most of the instrumentation on the album is done by Trivium members, so i'm pretty sure it's Alex Bent doing drums on this one.
David Draiman did produce Vengeance Falls so you're not crazy to think Matt kinda sounds like him
