Not only can't you pronounce her name correctly but also can't correctly pronounce the name of one of her major sponsors: Adidas. The German Company is pronounced as "Adi-das", not "A-dee-das". The name comes from the founder of the Company Adi Dassler. Hence, "Adi-das".
My Katelyn turning pro at just 21 is a game-changer, quit kidding yourself otherwise doll-face... Er I meam? Her dominance on the track, from high school to collegiate records, has been nothing short of phenomenal. She's truly setting the bar high for the next generation i mean. 🚀 Is she ready for the pro stage? Absolutely! Can't wait to see her crush it in this next chapter. 👏🔥#KatelynTuohy #TrackAndField #TurningPro #RunningGoals #AthleteInspiration #ChampionMindset #BreakingRecords #NCState #FutureOfTrack #AthleticGreatness"
Interesting video. Watching NXN last week I started wondering why KT doesn't do cross as a pro? It has always seemed to me that is her naturel sport. Your comments about her Armory gig reminded me of an impression I had watching her before and after the NCAA XC champs that she appeared to be auditioning for a possible presenter-announcer-commentator role at big races, and may, in fact, be grooming for a coaching job eventually. By the way, I buy both Olipop (which has, amazingly, appeared in our Giant Eagle in rural western PA) and KT Clusters granola, which I am putting in Christmas stockings this year. Yum.
I respect Ray Flynn as a runner but as a coach regarding KT, he is way off. She is way too slow for 1500m and 3000m. Is better (slightly) at 5000m but still almost a whole minute slower than international competition. Her strengths are Cross Country and quite possibly 10,000m. I'm also picking her to go well in Road Racing as she gets older and stronger. For middle distance running, NCAA is a grade down from Open Grade, so all those titles actually don't mean a great deal.
I disagree with your analysis. She has run an 8:35 3000 indoors as a collegian which was within the 11 seconds of the American record and crushed the NCAA record. She has run a 15:03 5k so she is not a minute behind the professional competition. She is significantly behind the World Record, but no one expects her to reach that level right out of college. Once she gets over her injury she will join the American elite professionals.
Parker Valby broke Tuohy at the 2023 Cross Country National Championships. Tuohy had a hissy fit after the race. Tuohy is better suited to run indoors than outdoors. Tuohy cannot run in high humidity and heat. Tuohy's prospects look bleak as she has been injured for over a year.
Watched her thru her high school and college seasons and look forward to seeing her compete in the pros; go KT!
Parker v Katelyn will be something to look forward to.
I'm happy to see her back. She is a great athlete and I wish her much success.

If these are one‘s worst issues, lucky guy one is.
@@gerdschaefer7408guess what, I’m afraid I’ve been mispronouncing it for years.but I sure am glad she’s back, missed seeing her run.
This is machine narration. The machine misreads some things.
SO many people CARE!
