a lot of people thinks Tintin is originally a animated character lol. I mean I don't blame them tho. it's a european comic, it's not very popular in thr west or asia.

A really good manga series is Pandora Hearts! It's a bit long but the artwork is gorgeous in the later volumes and the story is just the most complex thing ever for a manga (I always think how it could be an amazing book) and the characters are not flat at all too! Another manga I love that's really complex is Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) but that might not be for everyone. Still, definitely worth a try!
So is Noragami. The anime and the manga are amazing.

Battle angel is much better. Although battle royale is a decent thriller it’s pretty superficial and the art is uninspired.

I used to read Tintin when I was younger, loved it! And Asterix and Obelix too, which I recommend. I just remember getting them out from the library all the time.

Noragami is my first manga. The anime was soooo go that after watching season two I decided to read the manga. It did not disappoint. I would suggest Noragami to anyone. Its just all around a good anime and manga.

@TheWhiteFang284 imo the manga gives a better experience, the story feels much more natural and the character development is phenomenal, the plot is more fleshed out especially right now (the anime was definitely good too but the manga has just blown me away)

The first manga that I read was Sailor Moon and that’s what really got me into it! I’ve been collecting manga books for about 3 years and right now I’m loving A Polar Bear in Love. It’s about a polar bear in love with a seal and it’s so stupid and funny (it actually made me cry 😅😅😅) and if you’re looking for a light hearted read it’s definitely worth picking up!

omg, Tintin!!!! When I was little, my dad used to read me comics instead of books, and he would put different voices for each character. Tintin was one of my faves, though one of the stories scared me for some reason hahahhaha. But, yeah, based on my experience and what I remember from them, I'd say they're suitable for kids

Tintin is the reason I fell in love with reading, my Dad has all of them and the whole family bonds over them 💕 The animated tv show was really close too! I’d def say five is okay lol although parts of it went over my head at that age 😂
If you have any interest in superheroes, DC Bombshells and Superman:Secret Identity are some of my faves. And Asterix is always good for a laugh as well!

my favourite manga has always been and will forever be, D.gray-man, and like usual, I prefer the manga way more then the anime. Just sad that the author is ill so the chapters go very slow :( Great video btw! I'm planning to start buying books to read, because I stopped reading them cause I prefer images with mangas and webtoons, but I'd definitely like to try out graphic novels, and Locke and Key sounds great! I'm definitely planning to check out Locke and key, and Battle royale, since I loved the hunger games movies and plan to read the books someday~ I think my dumbass would love comics like Avatar the last airbender lol, but it's nice seeing less populair recommendations.

Battle Royale is one of my favourite series of all time! The novel is probably my favourite of them, but the manga and movies are amaaaazing
I've read all those manga except the battle one , you have such a great taste I highly recommend them too , also Orange and erased are very sad.

a silent voice is my favorite manga/anime book. i don’t have the full series but it’s really amazing! it’s also a netflix movie. i got it from barnes and nobles!
I recommend a silent voice it’s bitter sweet, the manga goes in more detail then the movie since the manga is like 7 hours of content and the movie itself is like 1 and a half hours

I hadn't known Joe Hill was Stephen King's son until I read Locke & Key. Oh and I'd think it's Saga (saa-guh, not say-guh) as it's pronounced like the word saga - as it is the saga of the family, their epic journey, trials and tribulations.
I need to watch Erased. That's been on my to-watch anime list since 2016. That's one of the most hype up anime during that year that's why I was kind of afraid to watch it since I don't want to be disappointed but now that the hype died down, I guess it's time for me to watch it. And you need to watch Orange! Though a lot of people told me that the manga is more awesome than the anime.
I read Battle Royale's book, but not the manga and I also watched Erased's live action and I also liked it! I should check the mangas. Orange and Death Note are on my favs list too

Hey quys I just wanted to say I would help a lot if you could give me your favourite manga, graphic novels or comics that you would recommend or even any anime’s or anime books. Literally anything. Im getting that feeling I’m really interested in these things now. This video helped too:)

you like sailor moon? nothin wrong with that probably did have a good story. Its just not something I considered ever watching when it was like 1 out of maybe like 3 or 4 animes that were ever on Since it wasn't that big. I think DBZ, Ghost in the shell and pokemon really set the tone it. Sure they may be older or better animes but I never heard of them back then. But other people I did know irl knew of at least one of those 3 shows. Anime was hard to adapt to at the begiinging cuz the old school artwork was terrible, They got a little to crazy with the face. They always had big ass eyes usually small mouth =always on females and no detail on the nose they just draw a point with no nostrils. Thank god they have gotten a lot better making them a little more realistic yet still adding there own flavor, which is usually emphasizing strongly on the eyes. Even though the noses are still the same the eyes at least don't take up like 70% of the entire face.
