Cliff was a fan of Cliff Richard a well known singer in Britain. He did a film called Summer Holiday, aspects of comedy included, could be worth a watch.
The Cliff character is a nutty superfan based on real life singer Cliff Richard. Wired for sound was one of his hits, it was playing while Max n Paddy were working out in the yard.
The Cliff guy was an obsessive fan of the singer Cliff Richard (It's the same guy Rik mentions in the Young Ones). He had hits from the late 50's onwards and is very well known in the UK, a few of his songs featured in this episode. Thanks for the reaction!
The yard scene with the bench press reminded me that there's a Max & Paddy workout video, it was a bonus on the DVD but must be on TH-cam somewhere. There's also a video of Paddy training with Eddie Hall (world's strongest man 2017), I think it's on Eddie's TH-cam channel.
great episodes...looks like Tina came through..Max bit the bullet and seen he would do more harm than good telling his son he was his father...Good job Max wasn't in the Shawshank Redemption or he would of tunneled through about 5 cells....lol i enjoyed this show much better than Phoenix Nights cause the spotlight is more on Peter Kay and Paddy McGuinness.
That was filmed in Preston prison, that's why it says PNE on wall of the cell it means Preston North end (local football team). I visited my naughty brother in there and u don't talk into phones, you sit at tables and there's a little cafe kiosk bit to get hot drinks and chocolate and snacks. Talking into a phone with a visitor is completely lifted from American movies lol. I had my baby son with me and my mum and my nan. (I think it's medium security, for people who have been fighting or small time drug dealing. My brother convicted of the former btw)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone 😍
Great reactions. Long time watcher first time commenting

Lol, so inappropriate
Fun fact, the little bald one in the showers stood next to Raymond is Paddy McGuiness's brother in real life.
Not fun fact but cheers😁
Looks like a brother from another mother.
Apparently he was not happy he had to rub shower gel in Raymond's body lmao
@t3mpomusic
