Both of these guys are top notch players and I'm so glad they both now have signatures! Ibanez really made a great choice although I wish one day that Rick Graham will get a signature model.

The thing is, unfortunately rick really isn't very active in the guitar community. Martin and Tom are always doing different things in the community - interviews, clinics, new music, lessons, session band videos. Not to mention they're both with JTC. I bet Rick would get one if he was more active like tom and martin but you only ever really see him doing the occasional lesson on his TH-cam. I love rick though, I really wish he could get one.

@@alexjackson8841 True, RG isn’t as active as he once was, probably has other things going on in his life I would imagine. What is JTC?

Martin Miller and Tom Quayle duet is the best thing on guitar scene right now. They are the new Kotzen/Howe duet.

So excited that 2 of my favorite players got their signatures. I have always appreciated that Ibanez, unlike many companies, give sigs to talented players and not just popular rock stars.

These two guitars will outsell everything else on the market this year.

Wow, that's a tall order. I do indeed like the TQM1 model. It looks great and I'm curious as hell to see how the neck feels. I'm hoping one of these and the AZ ends up in the big box retailer (since they ran all the mom & pops out of town that had some fucking variety and now that retailer has a credit rating of dick) that I can try. But, to your OP, I think Ibanez very well could dominate this year w/ everything they have on deck. Especially the opportunity to finally buy a Road Flare Red RG550 without having to sell my soul. My tax check fit that price tag just right and I'll tell my wife I won it from a youtuber or something and she'll buy it. Win/win.

Hell yeah! So glad to see Ibanez doing SMART things and giving us something in between the old guys and the kids’ stuff! Kudos (I love the old guys btw)

So glad Ibanez got these two guys. Its great to see the hottest newer generation equivalents of Via, Satch, Gilbert, Timmons, Beach, Kotzen, etc.

I bought the TQM1 and I am very satisfied. This guitar is absolutely amazing. One of the best I have bought ❤.
I also own the Jem 7V , the Joe Satriani Chrome Boy (20 years ago) and, 2 others JS. Ibanez guitars are absolutely my favourites

I was lucky enough to jam with tom and play his signature model prior to release and can vouch that its a serious piece of kit :)

Tom, congratulations on your signature guitar, it’s sounds incredible and beautiful to look at. I too, like a 22 fret guitar and hopefully I’ll be able to afford one from Ibanez when they become available.

Just bought an Ibanez jazz box.... I would say Tom is right... the neck profile on my Ibanez is also very accurately crafted and very comfortable.

I'd love to compare Martin's mahogany guitar acoustically with my '92 N4 Alder. Alder seems to be air-y and EQ-even but I imagine the Mahogany to have a girth to the lower mids. I'm also a dedicated 2 humbucker fan straddling Fusion and Jazz. Both awesome players with complementary perspectives.

So these two "signatures" are basically just slightly modified AZ guitars, right? I'm personally a fan of the 2 humbucker alder body design and I really just want to see fancier finish options become available for the range and then i'm sold. I guess it's possible I might end up seeing this with someone's signature model ahead of just new variants in the range. Only time will tell.

I noticed that the standard AZ models are quite similar to these. Did the standard models come out of the sigs or did the sigs come from the standards? They are amazing, no doubt, but they don't seem that "unique" idk.

MM1 has been one of the coolest models of this NAMM. Really like it. But my impressions with these two signatures alongside the az series is that Ibanez wants so share market with suhr. And for this particular video, the camera work could be better, too many blurry parts when focusing them. Cheers !
