My brother bought me this for christmas growing up and it was a huge inspiration for me especially Kenny Anderson's part. I watched it over and over, Ive been looking for this clip since I lost the DVD as a kid, and am just now finding it here. thank you!
Like one of my first skate videos ever owned had the best scenes ever ultimate best I love this movie so much got me into skateboarding. I love all the music
Ya it is. I think it's the same thing that happened with The End from Birdhouse. When they first released this on VHS it had this song, but they didn't worry about clearing any of the songs with the artists/publishers. Skate videos never used to worry about that, because they were below the radar. But this was when Tony Hawk was a household name, the X games were huge, everyone started wearing skate shoes, and everyone played the Tony Hawk games. Suddenly skating was mainstream, people realized it's making a ton of money, and they wanted a piece of it. Smaller companies got away with not paying royalties for longer, but having Tony Hawk in your video makes it harder. So when One Step Beyond and The End were released on DVD, the songs changed, either because they couldn't get or couldn't afford the licensing. If you never saw the VHS version, you wouldn't know the difference, but it's definitely weird hearing a version different than the one you grew up with. Also, at the exact same time this came out, a car commercial used the same song. That might have made it harder to get. Car companies have deep pockets. A friend's band got 50k to have a song used in a VW commercial that aired abroad. So there's a good chance whoever owned the rights expected a similar amount from Adio. I only thought of this because I remember hearing this song all the time and thinking someone was watching this video, only to find out it was a commercial for a minivan or some dumb car.
I think the original song was this one: Nicola Conte - Bossa per Due th-cam.com/video/YHPFXEooQOc/w-d-xo.html Either way, this Adio movie introduced me to this wonderful artist Nicolas Conte :D and yeah, it's a shame they changed it in the dvd, but well, if it didn't clear, it didn't clear :( stuff.ua/music/117-adiostepost.html

Shut the fuck up this is Mr Scruff. You wouldn't know good music if it punched you in the face and said "Hey I'm good music" you uncultured cretin
