The opening doors are a nice feature. It seems the suspension is set for maximum ground clearance ;-)

He gave an award to the IMC Demag AC 700-9, which is made by a higher quality manufacturer.

Rating a single model as "best" is entirely dependent on what you want out of the model. For example, the models that appear to be closest to the real things in functionality are probably the NZG Liebherr cranes, like the LTM 11200-9.1 with all the options parts, since you can build any configuration possible in real life and actually have it function properly; the models that look most realistic in detail are the IMC and YCC cranes, because they're works of art (but they don't have the optional luffing fly jib parts), and the most fun model to play around with is probably the HK Funktionsmodellbau version of Conrad's Liebherr 630 EC-H 40 tower crane, which is fully remote controlled to the point where you can have it build its own tower and all you have to do manually is pin the sections together after the crane does the lifting. Good luck getting one of them though because there were IIRC only 10 made.
Anything that gets an Excellent (or, in the old system, Outstanding) from CranesetcTV is probably going to be spectacular in its own right though.
