The specs in your macbook air are the sweet spot. Pretty much the most common sense combo for specs.
Currently watching a bunch of unboxing videos because mine is coming in the mail soon for my 18th birthday. I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since I was a little girl😂. I’m so excited I haven’t been this excited since I was a kid it’s such an amazing feeling!!🩷
Me too I’m getting mine in two weeks 😭🤌🏼and I’m paying my own money 😭the second biggest purchase I made it feels good.
I had mine 4 months ago and I really loved it :) so fast and smooth..

@@MrTARANDEEPS hiii! i don't think scratches will be too visible on this color, especially if you get a case... I ended up getting a plastic case after they had more reviews... I did scratch it before though because i put it on top of a stapled pile of paper 💀
BUT, the scratch is barely noticeable because of the color. it blended in and can only be seen up close at certain angle. i do think this color or the silver is probably the best for hiding scratches.
as for the color, yes, it is a mix of silver and gold but the gold color is very subtle and light!

i agree w all ur opinions, the m1 pro is way more expensive and tbh i don’t even like how thick and heavy it is😭 as well as the look of the keyboard. m2 air is v thin n sleek, i love it. congrats on ur laptop!

I got the pro bc I wanted 16gb of ram and they were literally $100 apart for 16gb and 512ssd lol. the pro is thicker, but doesn’t feel bulky at all while using it!

Agree on the looks :) but it‘s the extra slots on the pro that got me personally

I'm watching 'cause I have yet to receive mine from Apple with upgraded specs. I liked the new midnight (fingerprint color as they say) but several buyers were fighting for it at the Apple store. I ended up getting silver and I think it goes well with the black sidings (bezels) and keys than gold or champagne whatever. Nice video and deserves my thumbs up.

Hi! It's so beautiful! Quick question, have you experienced tiny (needle size, or sand size) dents on your screen? I wonder because it's been just less than a month and I have one dent.

I have no complaints at all!! the lil features I mentioned in the video that I liked ended up being really useful even though they were small things... honestly, this laptop is probably the most reliable thing I own right now. Hope you are enjoying your laptop too!!!!

Battery life is great! I usually charge overnight for a full day… Sometimes, it doesn’t run out so I charge mid-day the next day.
No throttling/overheating with my specs… I only remember the one time it got slightly warm was to export a large video. :)

7:21 That’s mostly a myth spread by some “uninformed” users - the only thing actually damaging for your MacBook is the screen protector (Macs’ Retina screens need to be left alone), cases and silicone or TPU keyboard covers are absolutely 1000% harmless: they don’t damage the hinges, don’t overheat the Mac and on the contrary they help save it from accidental liquid spills or food crumbs and protect it from bumps and scratches.
ohh thanks for clearing it up. i did end up getting a plastic case to protect from scratches... might look into getting a keyboard cover to keep it clean :)
@@bean.studyingg3138 Good idea. :) I had a soft TPU keyboard cover on my MacBook for a while, and since typing with it didn’t *(personally)* feel always the best I used to put it on only when I was using my Mac near snacks or drinks - right now I have a silicone cover, though, and I only remove that when I close the laptop.

Apple sells their own adapter hub I think
hi! sorry it took me long to reply... the link to mine is below. i don't want to lie to you - i did choose this one because of its really low price and generally good reviews. 0-0 so it's not ultra guaranteed like more expensive brands like anker or apple. but I did have a good experience with mine the two years I've had it, and it's pretty reliable... next time, i'll invest in a better one for peace of mind, but i intend to use this one until it dies since i don't think there's a risk of it frying my computer. hope this helps in your decision!!!

What if I use Android and don't have apple ID?
Heyy… I’m pretty sure you can skip linking to an apple id during the set up…
But another option if you want is to just make one for your laptop since it might help with some of the features. But in general, you can download chrome and just log into all the google accs you for your android. Definitely don’t have to be in the apple ecosystem all the way :)

Have you experienced the laptop getting very hot as people are saying.
It only got warm for a couple minutes when I was exporting videos. But that is expected. Other than that no, and I have multitasked a lot with “heavier” programs. Even though I got an higher spec version, I think for everyday use, the base model won’t get hot. :)
