阪急神戸線・今津線「西宮北口」駅周辺に広がる西宮北口エリアは、交通アクセスやショッピング施設に恵まれたベッドタウンとして人気を集めている。
「西宮北口」駅の北側には複合ショッピング施設「アクタ西宮」があり、スーパーマーケットや書店、雑貨のショップに加え、「西宮市立北口図書館」など公共施設も集まっている。
駅の南側には、阪急西宮ガーデンズ、コナミスポーツクラブや兵庫県立芸術文化センター等があり多くのショッピング施設やスポーツ施設、文化施設が集まっている。

The Nishinomiya Kitaguchi area, which extends around Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Station on the Hankyu Kobe and Imazu lines, is gaining popularity as a commuter town with good transportation access and shopping facilities.
On the north side of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station is the shopping complex ``Acta Nishinomiya,'' which includes a supermarket, bookstores, miscellaneous goods shops, and public facilities such as the ``Nishinomiya City Kitaguchi Library.''
The south side of the station is home to many shopping, sports, and cultural facilities, including Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, Konami Sports Club, and the Hyogo Arts Center.
