Nice. I have an 82 CM450A. Really like it. Plenty fast enough for a guy in his 57th year.

That beeping turn signal would drive me nuts

I have the same bike mine is a 78 has less than 8000 miles, has kick start piece, windshield, original pipes. Same paint, my seat has some rips in it. Its up for sale asking 3800.00 for it.

Do those mufflers have baffles or are they free flowing? Not sure what the appeal of a clutchless motorcycle is, but I shouldn't knock it until I've tried it. Probably a lot fun to ride. It would be good for someone who has limited mobility in their left hand or left foot....or like the video says, for someone in a city with lots of stop and go traffic.

These are baffled mufflers from a 1200 sportster actually. It sounds about as loud as a typical SOHC 750. Apparently a lot of people liked using these for bracket races where they needed to have consistent track times in the quarter mile. But primarily Honda wanted this to be for commuters.

Miles From Extraordinary thanks. I have similar pipes on a 1975 CB750 I just bought. Not sure mine have baffles though, that’s why I was curious if that one did.

If I buy one of these would it be better value to keep it original since it's so rare or use it as a cafe project?

If it's clean, you will devalue it by modifying it. If the tank is dented, seat ripped, signals busted off, exhaust is junk, fender smashed.... Then it would already have been devalued from damage and you can do as you like. Bikes as original as the one shown here should remain that way.

Heading to auction, unless you want to make a very healthy offer?

    What auction?

It will be Bring a Trailer. Working on submitting as we speak, but I can hold off if you want to talk on it more. But we would sell it outright before the auction process if you're interested. Have complete photoshoot.
