Hello Ashok! I am a 45 year old beginner...your tutorial is VERY GOOD. You are a born teacher! Kudos to you. Just one feedback. When you show a demo, do show the right hand also. The video tutorial always shows the left hand only. I am still a bit unsure as to how to strum. I tend to rest my little finger on the guitar while strumming and it hurts after a while. A good tutorial on how to use the strumming hand will be most helpful.

Thanks a lot Bro for sharing these in a nice way and sequence. I find difficulty in Up stroke, not easy as down stroke. Can you please show closely or any tips for easy up stroke.

Up stroke is usually hard in the beginning because the strings are more like a small obstacle which is resisting you from going up. When we use down stroke we slide through the strings easily. Imagine gliding down the staircase handle with legs on either side, what we used to do as children, we glide down, there is nothing to stop us but can we do the same and go up? We can't because we'll have to climb up. I think you've got a picture now.
Ashok Janardhanan yes thank you. Got why it's difficult. Is it like we can jus use the top 2 or 3 strings for upstroke or the entire set of strings used for a particular chord.?

For D Major chord in all these 3 patterns in reverse string, upto which string we have strum?
Hi Vasu Devan , glad to hear. Whenever we strum the D chord we'll have to try and stum the first 4 strings. Until 5 is also fine but Avoid low E.
thanks bro. For last one month i am practicing. I am practicing lesson by lesson. Now I am practicing metronome pattern lesson. Without metronome I feel easy to play, nut felt difficult with metronome tone. I am confusing. Give me some tips.

For strumming in DMaj should I go from 4th string or from the 6th
It will sound best if you strum from 4th string, Sammatify.

Yes it'll cause some problems, when sliding we may miss the tune.
It is advisable to sit under a fan when u play guitar bcuz I do it and I don't face any problems.
