I don't know why not all comments show up. Not ignoring any. Yes Yaqi are affordable and are of good quality and also have a nice selection in knots and handles. What is not to like?
@@majasmagic Don't worry, I get the same problem. I really like the Yaqi brushes even though I only have two of them lol. Are there any other brands you like? I hear alot about DS Cosmetics but am not sure of them as they are using well known high subscriber TH-camrs to market themselves. I kind of like brands that have built their own reputations.
Hope it helped you. I think I might have the most yaqi's of the shaving community, so just do a channel search here if you want to see a specific one. I added some more since this video.
I like this video and I can recommend the 22mm Cola. Very nice and soft with a lovely long handle so ideal for bowl lathering. What do others recommend and why?
No I don't, I can only imagine they are like the high quality Vielong and sympson (which I do have) synth with super soft tips which are fantastic they have backbone that whips up the lather superfast and volumizes but has a whisper soft brush feel.
@@magnoliamike Yes I have that as a 2 BB, I find them soft enough, I don't find the price difference between the two of true value for the difference in feel.
I would say a PI of 2 low for the snow leopard, a tux is a PI 6 high but both are fabulous workers, both have back bone the tux more up to the tips whereas the Gioto has softer tips (same comparison of a 2 band badger brush/ Tux vs silver tip badger/ Gioto). I hope that helps
I thought I was a lucky bloke since I have 2 Yaqi brushes. You must be 8 times as happy as I am.😀 I try to resist the temptation to buy an Evil Zebra or a Mocca, but I will probably fail.
What a stroke of luck to have found this gem of a channel. Thanks for your passion and effort.
Thank You
Good job on video describing Yaqi brushes, I like your way of describing the Pressure index on softness and back bone.
Thank you Ron.
Thank You
I take it your a fan of Yaqi brushes lol. Great video and really useful too👍

@@majasmagicWhere’s the best place to find all the Yaqi options like you have?
@@ericstanford7670 I got most of them on ebay and some on alibaba
I got the familia sagrada and I love it
Great vid, thank you! Have been searching for yaqi comparisons

@@majasmagicyes it was very informative, thank you👍🏻it would be interesting to see your perspective on their latest 'mink' brush.
@@deadcell4837 Oh I did do a video on that one I have the lime mink. It is very soft in-between the cashmere and the motherload or the caravel knot
Nice! Im new to your channel so i will have a look through your vids! Thanks again.

I have a longer video on the channel showing a lot more yaqi brushes
Do you own any of the newer G4 knots yet? If so, what is their pressure index and feel?

I want to get the blue and white 2 band badger that’s pretty popular. There’s two different kinds the two band and the high mountain silver tip
Yes there are the two different types. I prefer the 2band
@@majasmagic yeah I might get that one. It’s a little cheaper too. I remember it’s called “AQUA”

That's a plethora of Yaqi Brushes! Nice collection!
Yes, it took me a few months to get together with swaps and 2nd owner ship.
What is the pressure index and softness of the joto (snow leopard) compared to a tuxedo please

And to you.
Nice video Maja!

Hello, nice review! Since I'm not good in english I can't understand well, would you tell me which is the softest among all of these?
The Dandilion is the softest the next is the purple or lime mink knot

If you're in the UK/EU I'll sell you my Evil Zebra
MajasMagic I’ m Germany. I don’t know about the shipping costs from the UK, but shipping to the UK is quite expensive. Shall we continue via email?
