This is si fucking cool 😎 Bravo my Friend !! Little question , is your magnéto fix advance , and how much did you pit for advance ? I love your Tudor man 😎😍
Thank you very much my friend! The magneto has a curve and goes to 26° I think it was. It's from a german g28t.But as always I want something better so I'm looking for a B engine and go full oil pressure. 😉 I love your Tudor! 🍻
I’m interested to see how the downdraft works for you without a fuel pump. I have a burns downdraft with a new genuine 97 on my 28 A as well and it seems to lean out as the tank level drops and forget going up long steep hills under a half tank. Trying to work out a pump and regulator setup now (hopefully hidden) to see if it helps.
When are you going to start manufacturing those headers? They look terrific! That magneto puts out the best spark that I have ever out of a magneto! Can't wait to see the Tudor drive video.
Thank you! I can make them as diy kit and sell. 😄 I can open up the gap a bit on the sparkplugs and still have one hell of a light bulb in the cylinders. But right now I'm back with a distributor because I had problems with the magneto. The car is scarry now when 70mph is possible. 😇
I got my stock coupe up to sixty one time on a downhill slope, it was pretty dicey. A header kit would be the way to go, you may get rich and famous. Make sure you make them to fit stock heads too. That number one set of Hagberg headers may end up in an automotive museum!
@@dogbitefred6631 Thanks to the headers I'm now very famous here in our little town. 🙉 90 years old suspension can be a bit fishy at high speeds, but it's so much fun driving like you hate them.
Thank you sir! I'm sure it would need alot of modifications to withstand a turbo. The crank is very thin and the babbit bearings is too soft. But I'm not saying it's impossible. 😁 Better to use a B-engine with modern bearings and a pressurised oiling system.
I would love to build something like this in a coupe with a 4 cylinder 4 speed from something like a Pinto. Reliable, cheap on gas and sporty. Maybe a fiberglass kit car so it's light and that would make it quicker.
Thats a very good project right there! I`m planning on building a reliable Model A Roadster in the near future and make a series on my TH-cam channel. Thank you for watching!
@@slowshop that's still a really awesome overall gain. People here stateside pay ridiculous amounts to get their modern cars to gain that much. I love the old school dizzies and well tuned carbs anyday.
@@slowshop ya my writing sucks . way back in 1968 my dad helped out a guy that had a sprint car . i would go with him and being a bored 10 year old i would get in to things . this one time i was playing with one of his vertex mags . i was spinning the drive gear around . i was told . don't do that . there is no load aka spark plugs that have a .045 gap to jump and with out them the voltage is looking for a path to ground and will rupture / short out the coil . that's what i was told some 55 years ago .
Helt underbart Martin! Nu det är dags att hop-up min 31 Tudor - snacka vi på Insta (Old Skool Kustom) eller här - tänka att jag behöver köpa fika till oss och prata om allt från main bearings renovering, cam, och en Harberg Mod 01 etc.

@@slowshop have you found a B engine/block yet? How about a new A block and crank by Burtz?
@2manycatsforadime Aloha. I'm still running the A engine. That 5-main block would be nice but way over my budget. 😁

nice 👌 running 🏃♂️
I love it! Great old school hot rod.
Thank you! 🍻
Woohoo. Super excited for this one.
Aloha! Thanks for watching!
That banger sounds excellent! Great job!
Thank you very much! Thanks for watching.
Nice, love the banger rods
Thank you! 4-bangers are way cooler than V8s 👌
That sounds so good!!! Nice job! Excellent upgrade.
Thank you Cory! It's a bit loud or I'm a bit old... 😄

Thank you Taylor! A bit like an angry fishing boat. 😉
Looking Good!
Thank you! 👌
Den är så jäkla grym. Är lite avundsjuk:)
Tackar! Ja Tudorn blir rätt fräsig. 😁
I really like your videos thanks keep them coming
Thank you sir! Soon I'll start a new project I hope you'll like. 👌

I have the same issue. Well, I had. I've fixed it with an electric fuel pump. See the story on the next episode. 😉 Thanks for watching!
Put low pressure pump on, not much place to hide it.
Good job man!
Thank you. 👌
Cool video. Made headers for your strength 8 Buick was a mission 👍🏼🍺😎🇳🇿
Thank you! I can imagine.. did you build them 8 to 1 or 8 to 2 pipes?
@@slowshop I made them 8 in to 2 you can check it out on our channel if you get time 🍺👍🏼

Thank you!

@@slowshop They don't all have to be big block monsters in my book.
@@randall1959 So very true. These are light cars.
@@slowshop You could take a 4 cylinder from just about anything and it would make a really zippy little car.
Any 32 Ford for sale????
Aloha. Not that I´m aware of sadly.
What do you think your power gains are roughly?
Wild guess is ~80 hp, so double compared to original power.
@@slowshop nice. That's a pretty good jump for "bolt on" parts.
@@combatbeard7643 It is. I just made it breathe easily. The hot cam makes alot of the power. Almost 2mm higher lift and a bit longer duration. 😀

turning aka firing a mag with out a load aka spark plug is bad news as its hard on the coil as the spark is looking for a ground
I had to read it a couple of times but I see what you mean. I don't know how that could hurt I mag but I'm not saying you are wrong. 👍
