Anyways, as per records available on internet, this movie was released in 1949, 2 years after partition. Could you please shed some light on it if he migrated to Pakistan by then or he moved after 1949?

This Song is so nicely sung by Lata Ji, that I would like to listen it again & again. Music is Beautiful by Mr. Anil Biswas, THE EVERGREEN cOMPOSER.
The third stanza of the song is particularly very beautiful. The message therein is what the life is all about. And almost every individual is in search of that precious companion in whose proximity the time spent becomes golden and memorable.

Lata ji who has sung this song so beautifully is no more with us now. And we all music lovers feel a vacuum sort of thing by her passing away yesterday. My sincere and respectful tributes to Lata ji for her highest quality of contribution to the field of music in the Indian subcontinent.
