I bought Daymond John's book "The Power of Broke" when it 1st came out. I read it twice! I ended up giving it to my bro who was running a Hip Hop label in Seattle bc it inspired me so much. Passing on knowledge is a gift in itself and I thank you Tip and Daymond for adding substance to us who are trying to do something with our lives. Much love! ❤🎵🎤💪
Daymond John has really evolved. I really hope by him talking about what he did4r the black culture in the day. Will encourage him to create classes, build a school, or something to continue his love for black people. He expanded his knowledge and became the best version of himself versus staying stuck in the early 2000's like many of the people that was with him or around him then.
Starting small, finishing a logo, drawing up some shirts with my brother, taking our time but every move just has to be better than the last, watching this man speak is so helpful, and starting small is a reinforcement to what I’m doing, hopefully it does good by the Will of God !!!
T.i. kills me always talking about himself. Its one thing to relate but its another to always bring the topic back to yourself. I keep watching because he has great guest.
I hate when y’all say this. If it was a random person with a podcast I’d understand your point. But it’s T.I., this man full of knowledge and experience so why wouldn’t he share? And also all y’all idiots need to remember HES NOT A INTERVIEWER‼️he just a legend whose having CONVERSATIONS with other legends and other significant people. we are are just blessed to have the opportunity to view them discussions
John Wayne I disagree with you on that. There is a way to talk about yourself in an interview w/o taking the attention off of your subject. All the greatest interviewers know this, famous or not. It is an art form that few can or will take the time to really understand. T.I. understands he is a novice, that’s why he’s learning how to do it properly.
I'm coming for FUBU's spot ...as for what it meant and how it resonated with the hearts and minds of the black youth everywhere... The brand messaging was brilliant, and still means something to me even tho the brand isn't as popular as it used to be..Im still empowered and inspired and I harness what that messaging means to me and use it to articulate my brand (that I'm developing) and it's messaging...I don't think either of u 2 will read this message, but I'm manifesting meeting u both someday..and I'll definitely refer to this comment lol...love u both
Once TI gets buzzed from that liquor, he won't stop talking over the quests. You can actually see it in the guests eyes, like he starting to annoy them.😂😭
This was amazing! I watched the whole entire video with no breaks, very insightful conversation. I enjoyed the whole thing start to finish. Knowledge is power! 🏁📚🔑
I truly thank you for this one Tip, because we all know in the times we're in now we needed this great information so we can definitely start our own business!
Interesting how Daymond John points out how some entrepreneurs had to continuously try at it, until they learned the right combination of resources to achieve success. This made me realize how two information databases that I use could be used in conjunction to get access to decision makers and opportunities in a heretofore unthought of way.
All, keep our family in prayer. I lost my youngest half sister to gun violence. There will be no video today or Saturday. Sunday's video is prerecorded. I will be back on Tuesday and will share the details then. I'm ok; It's been tough, but I'm trying to keep busy as I deal with the loss. Thank you to all that reached out with concerns. ♥️Blove
Thanks for this TIP. Yo can you do a show on debt. If you have not already. People need to understand how debt works. And Interest. So they can avoid the countless amount of financial pit falls, and traps there are.
So it sounds like, form the beginning of this talk, it's knowledge that is key before anything else. You can grind it out learning from mistakes, but having that information first, can save you from the lesson of losses. People like Daymond should do a Master Class
Love this program, there are always bright people there. The Host is super sharp, and every show have something to learn! Keep it up Tip & the Crew... Also if you have another program or podcast for Entrepreneurs ... let us know, we SUPER love Shark Tank, and your show ExpediTiously!

@@RockyMaiviaMiami ok but it has nothing to do with being a billionaire. literally there isnt a single billionaire who is wearing the same thing everyday.
Yo TIP, i can’t thank you enough for this great interview. This videos have almost everything one might need to make a decision on what to do with there future.
I think it's important to note that he said he started selling those hats in '89. Thats 3 decades in the business for him to end up in this interview. Contrary to what IG tells us, lasting success takes time.
These two are the perfect example of the difference in a millionaire and a billionaire, the difference in riches and wealth. If you watch the video and listen here and there to some key information. But listen with your eyes most of all you will see what i mean!
TI, another great episode. It was great to hear you and Daymond John chop it up. He helped me get my start back in the early '90s when I opened my two stores in Waikiki and later when I did business in Japan. I met him and his brothas at the Magic Show in Las Vegas and he (via N.W.) was the first to offer me not only Fubu fashion, footwear, and accessories but also a line of credit. Wishing you both continued success!
Big up to Daymond John bought his first book display of power and it's very good I've seen his growth in the retail industry buying fubu back in the day made sacrifices and struggles from the beginning to get where he is today 💯💯💪👊🙏

Idk how people say TI is a bad interviewer. He speaks his mind and sometimes butts in but he’s respectful and mad intelligent
He hogs the platform and is in control.of the conversation
He needs to let them speak 80 percent of the time.20 percent him

The best takeaway was Daymond never touched his phone first and foremost. Great connectivity conversation and real one on one dialogue.
