Ed Mylett, you are so right this is one of my favorite animals. I remember being broke and saying that I was gonna get enough money to have Master P mentor me. I am not where I started and I think I am almost where I need to be thank you both so much.
A house is built one brick at a time and so is an empire… don’t rush an empire, they take time to build ❤
I always thought Master P is at his best when he's talking money, how to make it, keep it, and grow it. For all the haters & critics out there that have always dismissed Master P as a no-talent rapper/lyricist, P sure sold a lot of m'f records to date.. it was Master P's albums that would easily outsell his own artists. So I think he is underappreciated as a mogul, given the fact that he didn't have the amazing "home court" advantage of being from the East or West coast. While the South did have known talent making it to the national scene, it was Master P who legitimized and certified New Orleans as an absolute powerhouse in the rap game.

Forever remembering that Gold Tank. Never had any idea what they were rapping about, hearing all that at maybe age 12 in Wisconsin. Just started listening to a lot of No Limit two years ago, after living in Memphis 8 years. Love No Limit. Love what P always been working toward. A great inspiration to get that wisdom in motion and bringing that atmosphere of knowingness to the people around my self.
I had the pleasure of seeing Ed Mylett at Keller Williams Family Reunion 2023 and thousands of people were inspired by him. To listen to these podcasts and to hear the stories of others is truly uplifting and encouraging. I have lots to catch up on! Thanks for sharing!!! Master P puts it succinctly. Love that he finds a problem and starts a business! What a way to look at the world.

For sure one of my most favorite interviews of All Time. So much wisdom & great tools to unpack in here. I grew up a fan of Master P as a young man. But I never knew his story. His faith, his mindset & his passion & happiness for putting in the work; just made me an even bigger supporter of what this man stands for. Thank you for this Ed. Keep doing the damn thang!

This dude is real. Doesn’t hesitate to give credit to the ones deserving like his manager and snoop. Beyond that he know that God is above everyone. If it wasn’t for him we won’t be here. He is a great entrepreneur. Also- I like when he talks about color and looks for opportunities in the market. Instead of being color as a downfall- use it as your advantage. Beyond all- Always putting faith first. Now realizing that I need to get back in my entrepreneurial journey. I started a business and failed miserably and have not gotten back from it. it’s very hard to get back from a major failure. Need to get by strength back with god and start again. I know that I can succeed with the help of God.
To be successful you have to see and believe in things that others don't see.and believe and have the courage to Pursue those things.

When he was 20 he had platinum teeth and gold chains as big as my uncles and I respect what he has become also the studio he had was dope as fuc$ and his videos were filled with gold and diamonds being wealthy at a young age I call being blessed and its true when he says dont be afraid of cutting people off and live in the mansion before your in it. This was an awesome episode! So many nuggets. I grew up in the hood listening to P back in the 90's. I had every No Limit record that came out and lived that life. By the grace of God I'm in a much better place now. Hearing P's story was so inspiring and motivating. I feel pumped and ready to keep climbing. Like he said, "I'm just getting started!”

P is the prime example of self made didn't need to make excuses worked hard no matter what people said about him went into ventures that people didn't believe in and came out a winner on top of being black and from impoverished areas. Now he's seasoned and handing out veteran knowledge for free like bowls of cereal. Salute to P
