The whole reason this is suspect is because he's getting paid considerably more than other people despite not having the credentials. Add in the fact that the college miraculously started getting anonymous donations from Chinese donors and it very much seems like this is just a funnel for influence peddling. Or maybe it is all on the up and up and University of Pennsylvania, one of the most respected institutions of higher learning in the country, decided to overpay a bumbling fool with a history of plagiarism and racist remarks to do little more than "meet with students."
@@scots2129 Being vice president gives you a very unique prospective a regular professor doesn't have. Its worth way more than what a regular professor is paid. For example ex presidents can command around $400k for just one speech at a corporate event. So an ex vice president getting $400k a year for multiple events doesn't really seem out of place.
