If Frank wasn’t played by William H. Macy, I probably wouldn’t care so much that Frank dies alone.
We all die alone.
@@pauliexcluded1 you know what they mean
Love William H Macy
Still don't care
Like Bryan Cranston and …well Walter white. Absolute beast actors.
Woody Harrelson was actually the first choice for Frank and I would’ve been happy with that choice as well.
"He somehow finally died" is what I want on my tombstone
Keith Richards will probably still be alive.
I thought he died from Covid lol
Well to get that title, you got to live for lomg while
Everyone is saying he went to heaven bc he floated... I think it's their way of showing the burden he carried was finally gone, as so many people with addiction are fighting demons and carrying unbearable weight.
Also after all the messed up things Frank has done throughout the series does he really deserve to go to Heaven.
@@FireArtVids21 god forgives all
M.
@@bunniesdiorOnly if u accept Jesus before you die. Sooooo no he's in hell
That is a good observation, that he is now beyond his earthly concerns. But that doesn’t mean it’s heaven.
Fact: The person who is playing the doctor is actually William H Macy's real life daughter.
thats pretty sick
And even She didn't want to show her face in connection to this character.🙄
@@ruffadamsthegreat.2662no… this was filmed during the pandemic…
wow.
WOW
Frank was able to see his kids in the past one last time 🕊
God: "cmon Frank, we leaving. "
-"not without my beer we aint"
B*, please. Frank ain't going to Heaven. That exit is the surest proof the white light is dying brain noise, bc Frank Gallagher is the definition of lower case evil.
Crazy it took him this long to die in the first place
It look a deadly global pandemic
As someone who lives in the uk it’s always the junkies/alcis or people who don’t work n sit on there ass all day who live longer then us it’s sad
He realistically would have died at the end of season 4 no one that unhealthy would qualify for a liver
@@kdizzle901nah, bad people rarely die. It’s takes something very small and inconvenient to end them. Drunk drivers usually survive, abusive people usually live while the victim dies…I don’t know about you but I know plenty of alcoholics with yellow eyes and trash livers living for decades. In movies, people die to make an example but in real life that rarely happens.
You’d be surprised how alcoholics can live long.
Fun fact that raspy breathing is called "the death rattle". It's common in dying patients and usually happens a few hours before death. The lungs fill with fluid and "rattle" as air going in and out make it gurgle
So Frank's final advice is not to worry so much. RIP Frank Gallagher
Thanks for the advice Frank! 😊
I just finishes watching the episode. Best thing Frank ever said
So sweet that Liam is the only one who steal care about Frank
still *
@@juliotheepic u gotta be fun at parties
@@Ryder.. I am
He’s the youngest and still in touch with the spirit world, that’s why he got that feeling right as his dad died.
Schizo^
"Time is precious dont fucking wasting" will definitely be my new motto in life
You fucked up the wording so bad lmao cringe
"Somehow" he was like 75% alcohol.
"We thought he was too pickled to die to be perfectly honest" -Doctor.
It was the alcohol that kept him goin
I feel like Frank was floating in the wrong direction but it’s ok
In Shameless, Hell is actually upwards.
despite him being a bad dad, he kept the show alive until the end.
I wonder if any of the kids would be surprised when they find out how his cremation went.
How'd it go?
@@UnCreativeDeconstructionism He was so full of alcohol that the furnace exploded when they put him in.
They should’ve brought Fiona back for the final episode
Apparently the actress was a pain to work with
Really?emmy rossum?
Here me out here. What if there was a spin-off movie (or series) that follows the events after the season 9 finale when fiona moved out? Kinda like El camino, and it focuses entirely on fiona after she moved out, would any of you watch that?
@@george-xz2ni yes
@@AlexRow55
Yeah maybe, but that wasn't the reason. Apparently COVID made it really hard for everyone to come on board again.
The only sin of this finale is they didn’t bring Fiona back.
the actress can't make it due to covid
The British version of the final episode had Fiona return but Frank didn't die
@@Theeighthdoctor1996 exactly.
@@lukedaley17 plus British version of the Gallagher's were basically chav's and from what I remember UK frank used to sometimes rant about how much of a prick former prime minister Tony Blair was
She was the worst part of the show
I still believe it was meant to last 16 seasons with a different ending
where did you find that?
@@SebastianPeterson Just guessing shameless was supposed to end when all of the characters had more development. Specially liam
I don’t think think so the original shameless show Shamless UK lasted for the same amount of seasons as this version but it had a different ending with Frank and all his kids and Monica having a party together one last time
It went on too long as it is. 5 more seasons would’ve been a nightmare
@@michaelcollins2030Yh honestly I watched both of them n the besides the first season they have different characters n storylines both brilliant shows
As Frank takes flight in the chair, he at least gives a final speech.
It’s depressing that they make it look like he is going to heaven. Out of all people in the show Frank definitely should be going to hell. Lol
He is not going to hell... at least for now. He is crossing the black sands and after that... judgement.
everyone presents to the pearly gates for judgement, not everyone gets to walk through them....
At the end of the day, being an alcoholic meant he had an illness. Who he was when he drank wasn't the real him exactly-or at least not all of it was the real him.
@futuremovieactor did you even watch the series Frank was terrible not just when he was drunk.... some people can try and use their substance abuse as an excuse for the shifty things they do.... Frank was shifty at his core. no excuse for that
@@jonant8317 When he was sober, he was no worse than any of the others.
Love how he snags the beer, and then covers it up as he floats up.
This ending was kinda silly, but the whole show was tbh. I wasn’t a fan of the later seasons but this scene to me did the series as a whole justice.
Yeah I def didn’t like the later seasons either.
Yeah after season 7 it just becomes unwatchable
This series really took this story-telling into a whole different level. Just remembering how everything those characters gone through, created them to become better. Best as they can be. 🤘🏻
"Somehow, Frank Gallagher is back"
-Cathleen Kennedy writing season 12
Even though Frank was a bad father I felt such sad emotion during his death
I've never seen an episode of this show and yet somehow Frank's death is still hard to fathom
That's a wrap!!!! I 🩷 you Shameless family & the wonderful family my mum & I grew to loving & caring thru out the time we shared!!! Please from time to time come in & say hi!!! I'll catch you again soon!!! 💚 you all!!! Sincerely Emma & Pamela Harrington
SOOO HARD TO WATCH😔😭😭😭HE LOOKED BACK AND KNEW HE WAS THERE😭😭😭OMGGG....
I just realised s1 ep12 and s11 ep12 have the same episode name
The Spoon song they’re singing is the same one that played at the end of the pilot
Fiona deserved a place in finale
What happened to her character stopped after S5
I doubt frank goes up. It's more likely he goes down to the pits of hell. Enjoys it there and starts trying to work different angles to run the place.
Swindles the devil
Nice nod to the original UK shameless intro with the whole garden of Eden bit
There was a UK shameless wtf... How's that possible.
@@UnCreativeDeconstructionism it’s the original and better but that’s my opinion cos it’s more relatable for someone who lived in a working class British setting if you have time and are able to get into it you should watch it but it might be difficult for American viewers as the setting isn’t relatable for Americans
Frank was a waste of a man
So true finally someone says it and I'm re recovering addict and this is what addiction does
I felt no sympathy for him whatsoever. I found it better when it was just the kids handling their own business and Kev and V being a power couple
“Somehow”
😂😂😂😂
The writers finally decided it was time. There was no more show left that they needed conflict to keep going.
😂😂 the title is what everyone thinks….. “finally he dies”
It really bothers me that they think he's an empathetic character, frank for the entire show was a monster letting a woman die for her money, wasting his kids lives and abusing them and at times conning them to have kids. And at the end they try to make u feel bad for him I never was able to forgive Frank for anything he did and his motivations where so narcissistic and gross, fuck you frank your family deserved so much better
Poetic show started with a party around a burning car and ended with a party around a burning car with frank talking in both of them
I cried...I'll miss you daddy Frank!!
Crazy how this pops up and just lost my uncle.
0:29 scary and sad
I feel like Frank should of been falling through the ground instead of rising in the air.
"times precious don't waste it"
"If you can't drink your troubles away you aren't drinking enough"
Man the writers dropped the ball. Only seen up so season 7 but what a dog shit ending
Macy was exceptional in Shameless.
I was hoping Fiona would come back and say bye or all of the kids would rush in and say bye to him. I don’t like how he died alone
As a recovering addict it's what that lifestyle does to you it's actually very spot on
@@0311catholic no one deserves that. Really made me cry
He wouldn’t have died alone if he was a better person and father to his kids, it’s the fate you get after what Frank did to everyone.
Just don’t be like Frank!
@@jamaljames9331 yup
@l.a9974 when you beat your kids and are an abusive drunk yeah that's what you get. My grandpa was like frank
I would be damned if somehow a reboot were to happen and he ends up comeing back to life, even if it doesn't happen its believable.
Here for a good time not a long time!
The title of this video is gold 😂
I hated frank through most of the show. But i cried like a fucking baby when this scene came on
Macy was so good as Frank.
Frank believed you go up for hell, not down. Hes not going to heaven
I think after all the things that could have and should have killed him, this shouldn’t have been it. This was a disappointing ending.
As bad as he is, i cried during this part
Frank may been a drunk to his kids, but in the end, he died a father
Of course it's a Tesla 😂
I wonder what would have finally claimed him if the pandemic hadn't happened...
He was stated in the show to have alcohol induced dementia. So his booze pickled brain would have gotten him regardless
After all the horrible shit that Frank did in his life it's surprising that he's floating up😂
Did I just fucking spoiled my self this entire ending?
\
Ah well I'm on S7 but I don't much care for getting spoilled
I could not imagine no one attends frank funeral But only Fiona and Liam attached frank’s funeral.
I think a lot of us wouldn’t believe he actually dropped
I watched the Kingdom of the planet of the apes with my mom recently, and I put the movie on pause the moment he appeared on screen. We were silent, pointed, looked at each other, and laughed for maybe 10 minutes. "Hahaha, that's fock'n Frankie Gallagher, hahaha, haha!" < For 10 minutes 😂
It’s actually sad how Frank is headed to hell not heaven cause if you didn’t notice his dad said to him in his earlier days how hell wasn’t downward but upward hence this shows frank wasnt forgiven for his past actions including multiple suicide attempts.
Bruh, if I die, I hope I fly in the air just to reflect on the life I lived and see on what I truly thought about the meaning of life.
i guess he really was.. shameless
Rip Frank.
Genuinely the saddest scene in the show
As much as he did it to himself, it’s still a shame to see an entire life wasted. Frank dying actually made me sad in a way.
Frank was a terrible father
Thanks. I'm almost done season 10. fucking TH-cam algorithm
Frank got off easy.
If Frank thinks he's going to heaven, that black background is an indication that he isn't.
We will all be here someday! For Real! Act accordingly
Wonderfully done
I would have liked to see the family's reaction to Frank's death, but sometimes you don't get the closure you want!
No loss there.
What a jer and he got to Margaritaville himself that's unjust
2:05 someone really burned his Tesla because of jealousy
STILL PISSED ABOUT THIS ENDING! WORST ENDING I EVER SAW
This ending was complete balls, fank didnt deserve a "happy ending" at all. He should have been drug to hell like in ghost. I would have had more respect for the ending here. All they did was rehash some references from yhe first episode and gave one of thw worset charaters a happy send off.
Why is he going up?
We all know what direction he's going
Hell is up in Shameless.
@@thomasraines1396😂
I see a lot you don't realize frank went to hell in shows verse if you float up u going to hell, god gave him a mug tht never empties as pity
This show should’ve ended in season 10
Yeah, I don't think he would be going up.
why is this so sad
I never finished this show but…can I ask what the message of franks character is? Like at every turn he was just the WORST dude right? Am I supposed to feel bad here? Sad? Sympathetic? I don’t get what I’m supposed to feel towards Frank
Please name song 1:45
Yeah nah i doubt frank going to heaven
Oh yeah um Fiona Left the season 09
This people is messed up
Shameless like this ending but i would prefer it ended with S7 but then we wouldn't have Gallavich so i am gald it ended here but i just like the S7 Finale better but this one was okay.
Bro he goin the wrong direction
Do Teslas come with Tru-Coat?
Wait, didn't they say hell was up and heaven was down in hall of shame? wouldn't that mean Frank's going to hell?
Yes.
Gave him the worse ending possible. Season 11 was absolutely horrible so in conclusion the show ended with 10 seasons in my mind
why did this show fall off so badly? it should have ended on season 7.
Amen
This show should have ended after season 7
Season 4&7 had better endings.
I guess what most people dont seem to understand about Frank is, that his life seems like a complete waste for most of you. But in the end Frank gives us the most meaningful message: Its your life. Your only responsibility is you and he lived up to that for sure. I know a lot of people will hate on him for not being a responsible father. But he lived and died in HIS way. Most people will never accomplish the state of being liberated from social chains.
That's stupid AF. Lol you don't get to be selfish and carefree when you have SIX humans that you brought into this world 😂😂😂😂
Social? WTF, the character is a horrible person, he just dont care about his family, nothing good about him, dont twist it like if it were to be meaningfull, its just good dark comedy.
I guess what all people except you understand is, that it's fine to fuck up your own life. But Frank fathered children he severely abused and fucked up with his neglect, violence, stealing, drinking and overall dog shit behavior, because it was more important to Frank to party and have a good time than to be a parent.
Liberation from social norms isn't an excuse to skirt any and all responsibilities.
@@angrymofo12Do you think Frank cares about the fact of him having an excuse granted by society (you and me)? What ever we think about his life at his death bed… It doesn’t matter.
I’m not saying that I can recommend his lifestyle or that he was a good father. Of course he was not. But he was given one life and lived it with no regrets. I don’t mind you calling him an asshole for that.
“Liberated from social chains” is a really flowery take on a degenerate alcoholic.
I hated this show.
