It's all over! Exploring Breda in the Netherlands and heading home

- It's all over!
It's the final part of The Slaw's late summer holiday. They cross from Germany into the Netherlands in horrendous weather in their Hobby motorhome Helga @HobbyCaravan with their two Lhasa Apso dogs Billy and Jessie.
They stay at Camping Liesbos in Breda. Billy and Jessie have their checks to travel home at Dierenkliniek Breda. The vets speak excellent English and the dogs were very happy there.
Onwards on the eBikes to spend the day exploring Breda.
The next day it's time to head for the ferry home and the plans to spend time in Dordrecht are thwarted by the torrential rain and high winds.
It does make for an eventful crossing from Rotterdam to Hull though 😱
The Slaws have a dog friendly cabin and dine in the Brasserie. A very pleasant experience.

I love that you are real drinkers and eaters - so many are veggies or even vegans. We have lived by Loch Ness now for 22 years - would love you to visit pubs around Mirfield, Hecky or Dewsbury villages for food. Our last home was in Upper Hopton but the local pub is now converted to homes.

Hi, Just watched your Netherlands coming home vlog. Love watching your trips. Keep them up . Just a note to Simon, his polarity reversal electrical lead is pointless in Europe. It is a 2 phase 220 volt system in Europe, different to UK an Ireland. There is no NEUTRAL connection in Europe. Both poles are live. This is why all caravans and motorhomes are fitted with double pole circuit breakers in their consumer units. Keep the vlogs coming we love watching them.

Please wear your helmets on the bikes. I lost a good friend , Howard, on the London to Brighton bike ride a few years ago, fell off, hit his head on the kerb and sadly died.

What a fab tour loved it, shame about the weather but plenty of beer so our sort of holiday 😂 good job the dogs were sober for the return leg. Loved the series. Did you sail on time as you had eaten prior to leaving port? That happened to us back in 2016 from Santander, but it is renowned for laving late according to several truck drivers we spoke to
