Maybe crazy but I use sheeps wool to deflect the wind noise in my helmet in order to hear the speed beeps, perhaps it could assist for recording audio as well.

Good idea I think that would for spot on. I am busy testing a Rode Wireless go equivalent to see if I can then just sync my audio after the ride. I had to delete allot of footage as it was just super bad. Thanks for the tip Marius

I'm buying one of these wheels but the decision is going to be tough. So far I love riding the EXN that I have from EUCO.

It does look like a really solid chunky wheel. I am really keen to find out how the weight affects the ride if compared to the S18. I think the more technical trails the S18 is still a top dog where the EX and EX-N can just go the extra miles. I am going to see if I can get a ride on one some or other time. Thank you for the comment.

@@Andre-Mostert When you ride one you may be pleasantly surprised to find your prediction incorrect. The EXN is a very nimble wheel with exceptional power. An amazing trail wheel. The S18 beats it in comfort but that's about it.

Well that is just great, now I really need to get a ride on one. I loved my mSuper V3 and its what I did all my trail riding on so keen to have a look at this one. Many thanks for the feedback.

Where I live in Central Florida, there are many paved trails and then there are sand trails with exposed tree roots as big as your leg. This is caused by the rain running down the trails and washing the sand away from the bottoms of trees adjacent to the trail. My thoughts... Sticking with the suspension wheel. I want to keep my knees and teeth where they belong. Notably, 35MPH is no joke.

Many thanks for the feedback, we have similar roots in the forests and are super slippery when wet and this is where the suspension really shine. It just takes the small and medium knocks out of the ride. But as you say going down from a small mistake at 30mph is not going to be fun. Thanks for watching.

Hi Andre, beautiful trails again! Question, who keeps those canals free of debris? I've been pondering those two wheels a lot lately so I'm glad you discussed them in this video.

Many thanks for the question Mike, the canal's are kept clean by the council that they fall under. They have the bigger canal boats that travel up and down the canal to dredge them out and also keep them clear of shopping trollies and so on. Hard work to keep them in good condition as its not just the canal but also the paths on either sides.

@@Andre-Mostert thanks Andre, they always seem so clean and I wondered why. They are doing a great job!

The hollow motor is the elephant in the room, glad it's on the top of your list. The V12 returning to a non hollow version should start opening eyes. If we keep sticking our heads in the sand while Begode only promises, the issue will not be fixed. I'm not buying anything resembling a hollow motor, even though I love the EX-N performance, while it works...

I must say I was hoping that they would be all over the hollow motor problems with putting something in place to fix it and then drive the technology forward so we all can benefit from it. But if they in the middle and not really showing that they sorting it out, that is not good for us buyers. I am a big Gotway fan and it was one of my favourite wheels a few years back. I also hope that they can fix the issues so we can get them back in the game. Thanks for the feedback and I am so keen to get a ride on an EX-N.
