Place something like a block of centered bars or something half way along the pole the zombies run on to reach thr fighting position. This forces them to jump and results in a higher percentage of zombies who will fall. Thus reducing the number of zombies who make it to the fighting position. Helping to reduce the damage those blocks take.
I've seen a lot of Base building videos, but the absolute Golden Nugget of a tip that you had was to not worry about digging too deep let the zombies dig it for you and then put the concrete in at your desired depth
Everytime I make this base I need like an hour to figure out the plate-pole-ramp changes on the poophole after the little mistake. This base is AMAZING, but I'd love you SO SO SO SO much if you could upload that part more clearly... I'm going crazy XD Anyway, this base is amazing, worked allt he way to endgame. Thank you!
Thank you! It works great to me. I prefer standard blocks instead of stairs. This make them to jump a few times instead of running fast towards me. I added some blade traps a the bottom of the pit, a few electric traps between the ramp and the building, stunning them over the pit and a sledge hammer next to the window. You can easily headshot every zombie.

Would be cool to see this base improved with some traps and stuff currently experimenting on a second base I made of this to see if it messes with the pathing or not trying to incorporate blades turrets and fences
Day 85 and I've been fighting the horde on the ground with a lot of bullets and a lot of coffee, I'm absolutely going to give this base a go, maybe even incorporate it into my home as it has a kind of guard tower/brutalist design to it. Thanks Bilegt. Edit: It works great! I painted it to look like an old Cold War watch tower with lots of weathering and camouflage. I'll eventually cover the pyramid with a bunker design that can act as a kind of shell so that it fits the look and feel of the tower. I also built a tunnel down the core of the tower that leads to the garage of my home. I think the next plan will be to widen the tunnel down there and have it lead into a warehouse for storage along with some crafting rooms.
@@Bilegt I dropped into your channel and posted some pictures of the current built, it took very little damage even day 91. I'm going to move all my furnaces under the tower and hook up some of the turrets and traps I looted, doable on survival but I hope people have a lot of materials. If it were day 1 I'd build it again just out of wood/cobblestone and upgrade as I level and loot.
i do the same kind of base for years. what i would change in your design ist the tiny pole to a security gate centered, why, friendly fire is not damging the blocks! What i do as well, i make the Zombies Jump, on the way over, first of all, they lose balance and fall sometimes! The jumping part slows them down... more time to hit them! ohhh one more ting, the pit needs to be always 14 blocks or deeper... so they don´t get in to rage mode! but i like the idea of the 45° defleckting block... not a bad idea!
Made it,day 105 right now already done 4-5 blood moon in,added a lot of eletrical trap in the pit and plated 3 hight all around the tower.Had nearly no break just the block at the top of the stair but it still worked anyway,i plated it lmao. Made my base in the wall inside the pit it require a jump to get in (100% safe,no damage have been made to my shelter inside the wall of the pit) made it my main base im still adding thing to it. had a bug each blood moon were a spider was stuck somewhere and could be found,i think he was stuck in the wall maybe the plating made him bugged had to re load thr world
got new into it and i am overwhelmed by the size and complexity of the game i made myself a world to explore and get into the game before playing on harder difficulty so rn i play with a 10day blood moon and 300% xp and still die all the time 😂😂
having really high exp multiplier is actually harder. It pushes your game stage so fast that the bloodmoon zombies become very tough in short amount of time. Probably by day 10, you are getting almost end game zombies. (many ferals, maybe radiated or even demolishers)

@@itsmeJulieKline I actually don't use the chute, I normally don't use explosives in general but I can understand why you set yourself on fire, it's kind of tricky if the hole is small
Demos are dangerous. Try to head shot em instead of throwing grenade down the pit, since explosives could trigger them to minimize dmg to the base. Also you can check your game stage, if it is above 147, demos are coming! Not sure if you needed this tip, but i will just throw it out here.
the new 7 days to die zombies are easy and the Insane mode is very doable...not like the old 7 days where they mean Nightmare they mean nightmare.... As someone who just recently bought the new 7 days and wanted to go back to my fav city..... dude, why did they change the town Diersville completely? It's Diersville by name only. The houses are completely different...the hospital is bright colored lego looking hospital....where'd the parking lot go? I don't mind the Re-Do of everything BUT they should of did a Remaster of Diersville the most iconic town......is now I completely new town....not even slightly eerie... I was so dissapointed...my base was there in the origianl 7 days.....now it's just a town I avoid.. :(

I just calculated roughly. It took me 899 concrete blocks, 8990 concrete and 810 forged steel bars to upgrade, give or take. So 10000 Concrete and 1000 steel bars should do the job. I will keep in mind to include this info in future videos!

Hey great video! I used this design and I got the survive 10 blood moons challenge but i hope you can help me. Im playing with the long timer that makes days longer and bloodmoons longer, by 2:00 am my loot bags disappeared, its possible to put those cube forms for the birds on the floor of the hole to make the loot bags fall and grab them ? Or zombies cam pass through the cube forms?
Set your days to be only an hour long or maybe an hour and a half and the bags will be there at the end. We change it just for horde night and then set it back to 2 hour days.

Am new to the game but know the base been to day 7 a few time been re starting but don’t know what’s a good start if it matters don’t want to be ran over but don’t want to go a weapon that you want use end game but the stun baton you will because of the op cc any tips lol so I can stop restarting
@@zachlee1195 stun baton is super good. Sledgehammer also great for cc, huge aoe ragdoll but little slow than stun batons. These 2 will be my choice if im fighting swarm of end game zombies.
What happens if I don't put a ladder in the well below? Will the zombies break through the concrete walls and stay there until daylight? Or do they also break the stone and the earth of the world until they rise?
They will start digging under your base trying to reach you from beneath. And if they destroy the ground beneath you, the base will crumble down as it loses support from ground. End game horde can easily chew through concrete blocks.
I build my entry level base on day 5 or 6. After day 7 horde, I keep improving and building up my base allocating 1 day each week. I do not like to build it on the exact horde day and rush things.
How do you deal with bombers ? Even at concrete level they blow up the pole then it's game over man ! I wouldn't call this necessarily an "end game base"
I have never encountered demos blowing the poles. Usually, even if they are triggered, they end up falling down and blow up down below. The pole actually takes the least amount of damage during the fight. But I do not deny that there could be a small chance poles being taken out. It just never happened to me man.
Hold down x for xbox, square for ps5, go to shapes menu. Ramp block is in wedge category, plate is in square category, pole is in pole category. Hope this helps.
@@bennemans92 yes you can put second row of poles on the other slope. But no more than 2 rows of poles. If you have 3 rows, the zombies will ignore middle. You need to avoid shooting or hitting the chest button of demos. Head shots would be awesome.

you must be building it with building blocks. Wood has 8 blocks of support, cobblestone and concrete has 12, steel has 16. Try building it with cobblestone right away.

Craft a building cube. Hold it in your hand. Hold x if you are on xbox, square on ps5 and access the shapes menu from there. Go to poles category, there you will find it.
End game in 7dtd really is the end of the game. The moment you get your gear to max there is nothing left to do because the maps themself are boring as hell.
The zombies wont drop any loot if they're oilled by a trap, so while this will kill them, you'll get no loot after each horde night. That's a horrible design. Lol
You can put your storage and workbenches. However, I do not recommend to do that as they could get destroyed. It is better to have home/workplace somewhere else.

You could use scaffolding ladders in the roof instead of the frames. They'll stop the bird puke when you eventually get them.

Entire base takes about 1100 building blocks of your choice. if your trying to gather for it.

Yes. You can extend to double column stairs and double pole walk and the face can be triangle pointy edge if that makes sense.

Molotov in tight spaces is very risky. Use other throwables and use molotov for your daily go about.

Ive been using this base for 64 zombie count and im already on day 80+, just added some electric traps.
Have you successfully been throwing Molotovs? I kept lighting on fire after throwing them down the chute, any weird tips?

You can make bigger. 5x5 is the minimum. Go check out my latest video! I made a co-op base for group of friends. There I made expanded base.

Ahh that will not work. Maybe try mod for longer lootbags?

Yes. Zombies will prioritize going for the doors first instead of choosing path of least resistance.

Dang thats harsh man. Try not to trigger them. I think thats the only way to prevent further damage.

He used the creative menu and when you take blocks it gives you a stack of 500. So I assume he made it all stone to save time for the test
it is for more structural stability. if the outer layer gets destroyed, the zombos would still need to go through more concrete.

Stairs is in basic shapes or in stairs menu. Half block is n squares menu.

Yes. It is designed to withstand max difficulty horde nights. However, you still need to be careful not to trigger the demolishers.

It is overkill for first horde though. It is designed to withstand max level horde. You can go a bit simpler version for the first blood moon.
