Best thing about RX-7 is cop's can't smell corona breath cuz the exhaust.... 😂... love it Man... Miss my 82, still have an 80 savannah wide body sitting in storage for the moment... Will get back on da street soon..... Nice video thanks 😊👍😊..........
It is a 12a, you will get no pull until 5500 plus and they still pull until about 7700 stock. the car stock is weight balanced 51/49 so basic perfection. Ladies love them too and by far the funniest cars I have to drive. I have two of them.
@@rafamotive When you actually know them they can do well, you wont beat anyone straight off the line, but if you get into traffic they are like a mosquito buzzing around. My first one I was 17 years old bone stock and a GS with a Nikki and open differential but on the the street in traffic I would eat Mustang 5.0's and nobody was touching them at that point. It is different experience driving a FB. Still to this day the women love them and yes they have no power but when you understand them and can actually fix them they are a blast. I love the FB and is by far my favorite rotary, I do want a RePu but haven't found one yet. None Rotary I have gotten into Nissan 350z lately due to my son buying us one and they are a fun ride too, the closest feeling I've had to a Wankel but more jam so they are ones to check out as well. Everything else I have is basically point and shoot with too much horse power so that's why I love the FB but getting fond of the 350Z.
Your alternator belt sounds like it's loose. I have an 82' GSL I need to get road ready.I just put a brand new clutch kit and transmission in it. It is just a matter of getting everything hooked back up...driveshaft, slave cylinder, exhaust, gear shifter...etc.🙂

Yea it was a blast to drive. The lack in power makes it interesting.

Aside from the muffler, does it have a catalytic converter and aftermarket headers?
I didn’t see any cats underneath, so pretty sure it doesn’t have any. And the headers are stock.
Beautiful car, all it needs is bigger wheels for the right fitment
just needs lower with some subframe mods to accomidate the geometry change
@@UmadBRO123 honestly I think these wheels altogether are not up to par with the rest of the build

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll ask my friend to take a look.
Do you happen to know what that kit is?
I’m sorry, no idea.
