I just did this and now my fingers smell like latex after wrestling with a balloon for over an hour. It worked though! I am just not very familiar with crafts so it took awhile. Totally going to have to put a fuzzy sock case over the balloon part since touching raw balloon feels icky after awhile. You are a total genius for figuring this out by the way

Hey, the thin plastic is called Vinyl, that looks like 14-16 gauge vinyl in particular. you can find it at Joanns fabric or amazon or of course reusing another bag. The only problem with it is it tends to be abrasive whenever it's starting to wear down, never used it on an electronic before so I don't know if that would be a major issue.
