Hey Mark! So nice to hear from you! Why is Maine sooo beautiful?! I'd love to.move to Maine! Thank you so much for sharing! Lots of love from Argentina! 🥰
You're welcome. You may be interested in my other channel that deals specifically with the towns. It is called, "These Maine Towns." www.youtube.com/@TheseMaineTowns
I love the videos, your accent is very entertaining. I am thinking about moving to Maine from Tennessee and I have one question for you: do your restaurants have the recipe for sweet tea? A southern boy has to have his sweet tea.
Hi Matthew, been here my whole life and would love to move to Tennessee!!! Sweet tea is not a thing so much up here. The first time I had sweet tea I thought someone had made a mistake with the amount of sugar. You can buy it in most grocery stores.
I left Maine and miss it, BUT I don't not miss the taxes or leftist running the state or the winters. I'll be back in a few years. Yes I will live here in Tennessee part time too
We were in Tennessee a little bit this past fall and I really liked just about everything about it. We moved from Bangor back to Fort Fairfield and am enjoying the quiet and good neighbors.
Every day I thank the powers that be that I decided to move my family (Mom, me and the cats) from California to Maine. Yeah we have a rotten governor but it's so much nicer here than there.
I’ve been to California once. Drove from Phoenix to Palm Springs to San Diego on business. No comparison worth mentioning. Maine is a great place. Have you been up in Aroostook county yet?
@@HotRod12667 There is no place on earth like Aroostook County in July. All the potato fields are in blossom. The Potato Blossom Festival in Fort Fairfield is a great time for food, music, and Maine the way life used to be.
As a retired Maine teacher I can tell you this is misleading, most of our schools have become terrible; that is why my grandchildren are in private schools because the public schools are now completely unacceptable. Unless you live in a wealthy suburb or township (roughly 5 of them in the state but these are the exception), your child is not going to get the education they need to be successful in life.
Boring, quiet, mosquitos, ice, snow, long dark winters. Please don`t come here. We are expecting another ice age, by the way. Ice ages follow on the heels of global warming.
You know, I actually adore it here in New England. I`m just giving it bad press so less people move here. I was born in York , York Maine. Just havin` fun with it.@@YOUandMaine
@@marjoriegoodwin2993 Couldn't agree more. Next week I am moving to The County, right on the Canadian border. I've enjoyed Bangor and the area for ten years. Here in the Bangor area we refer to York County as North Boston. And, Bangor is running out of land for new neighborhoods. The growth over the last five years has been tremendous. Not so much in Aroostook. Nice and peaceful.
Oh, you lucky duck, moving up by the Canadian border. Every time I am in Vermont, even if I am a passenger with my eyes closed, I can feel when we cross the border, and it feels so different that I assume we have crossed the border to Canada. Very different earth vibes up in the north country. I hope all things go well for you and yours, sincerely.@@YOUandMaine
Thank-you! It is soooo different. Recently, I stopped to fill up my van and the owner came out to say hi and we talked for 20 minutes. It was wonderful to just chat with a complete stranger. On the other hand, we won't do that in February 🙂@@marjoriegoodwin2993

Moving to Maine from Texas! Wasted 10 years of my life living in Houston.
I hope all was not wasted. Safe travels.
Its my little families dream to move to Maine one day ❤ we are currently stuck in Oklahoma 😢 love your videos!
I hope you can....just don't move in February 🙂
Stuck baking in Texas. I dream of being able to come home.
@@tattootikigreen191 I hear ya. Went to school north or Dallas and couldn't wait to get back.
You would not want to be here now. It's been unbearable for 2 months with no end in sight. Sigh.

Oh, thank you very much for the tip. I watched it straight away and subscribed to the channel. Great videos!
Great video with a ton of helpful info! Fantastic state!
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts.
All of those reasons are why I'm moving in January!!!!
That’s awesome. Thank you for watching.
I would need to live in a town/city...never drove in the States😊Ooo Haddock and Halibut 🌟sounds great....ALL sounds fab....but its the cold..oooo...😳
Thank you 😊 we sure have the market on cold and snow. 😝
You get used to it. I'm from So Cal and to me it's not as cold, or it's a different kind.
Love it! Don’t forget the loons!
Thank-you. I love the loons call. Thanks for watching.
Love your video maine seems to be a great plce to live thankyou for the video.
Maine is a great place. I’m not fond of winter, we also don’t have to worry about tornadoes or hurricanes.
Awesome video!! 🎉
Thank you!!!
Beautiful video & great narration!

What if I told you, you could learn to make it at home?
Back in the late eighteen hundreds we had some labor riots. Everything else is spot on.
Thank you for watching.
Great.
Thanks for watching.
Maine's a great state! Just as long as you stay away from places like Castle Rock, Derry, and Jerusalem's Lot. 😂
Especially the ones with the pet cemetery
Please stop enticing people to Maine. Crowds ruin everything. Tell them to go to Kansas. Free tornado rides.
Bwahahahaaa
Some of our nor'easters can have some wicked winds along the coast. Bad and may iknock down some trees but not life threatening or devastating.
And then the power goes out! Thanks for watching.

It's expensive to live here! Taxes are high!
Depends on where you live. Rental prices are out of hand.

Which comment? It’s been a long time since I’ve made that video 🤔
@@YOUandMaine The comment about Tornadoes tearing through Oklahoma lol
@@Tapout199217 Oooooh, yeah. Sorry. I have a niece that lives there and those thing are crazy powerful.
Maine has a bit of a mysterious atmosphere to it. Must be due to Stephen King's writings.
It does. I have done many solo camping trips deep in the woods. At night a person encounters a different side of Maine.

In the early and mid 1970's we used to get quite a show. Fond memories, Mistah. 😝
We’re coming up from Jersey, hope we like Maine!!! Can’t wait
If you don’t like Maine than likely have a predisposition for Cleveland, South Chicago, and Philadelphia. 🫣 Enjoy your visit 💕
Don't expect to be welcomed with open arms, except maybe your real estate broker. or tourist traps.
