Too many videos just read out the talents and read out the rotation and call it a guide, this one provides exactly what beginners to the spec need which is explanations on why and when you press the buttons. Thank you!

Yo only thing I wanted to add was - when you spend yout infusion of light proc you should always spend it on your beacon target always always More holy power = more healing or more damage
Excellent guide, I appreciate that you explained mastery! Perhaps explaining some of the other stats that are good for holy and their functions? The ones that are less obvious from name alone for a rank beginner i.e versatility
Healer anxiety since people can become quite toxic even its just normal dungeons.. but can't help but play healers esp holy paladin. Thanks for the guide!
Yea it can be rough starting out but it gets better. Add people who are friendly and reach out to play with them more. Join a guild and find people who will help ease you into the content. But most of all, don't let uncontrollable circumstances like random people's opinions or attitudes get in the way of your own fun and goals :]
previously some of the judgements healed party for those hitting the target (healing pinata). it wasnt huge but enough to make it worthwhile. same for mana regen
Another thing these beginner guides always miss: Can you say which buttons are your abilities linked to? I know it's something quite personal, but it could really help me perform my rotation more smoothly

I was so confused by all the melee guides completely leaving out Flash of Light and saying to use Light of the Martyr instead. Don’t get me wrong, Light of the Martyr is powerful, I used to play the Maraad build in Shadowlands, so I do appreciate it somewhat. But using Flash for uh oh moments has never steered me wrong and my numbers seem to improve since that’s what I’m comfortable with. If it’s the go-to heal in M+ I was curious why it’s frowned upon to use in melee raid spec? 😵💫
For the melee heavy focused builds, there are to many things to keep up with already so adding flash/holy light to that list makes it rather difficult to get good use out of. Holy shock, crusader strike, spend holy power, consecration, utility spells, it all adds up to be quite a lot to juggle as it is and all of those abilities give you more healing than flash/holy light
@@Moarcookiezlive thank you that does make sense, and I do understand wanting to keep as many casts as possible instant. I tend to default back to Flash since it’s just ingrained now but I do try and practice runs where I only do Martyr. I find that because the other heals have it covered so well it’s only a few times each dungeon you even need to worry about these moments so it could almost be more of a preference thing? Although I’m sure, as always, there is a meta hehe. I do wonder how Martyr would work alongside the pot that makes your casts free but 40% slower so it doesn’t effect instant, it would still sap your health I assume?

Is there a reason why you completely forgot to mention Light of the Martyr and its uses? Can be very useful in a scenario without holy power and heavy movement! No mention of Blessing of Protection either.
Yes, as a beginners guide I only cover 3 spells from each catagory. Light of the Martyr is a spell that is incredibly useful, but to a brand new player to holy paladin, its more important to understand and be used to pressing other spells first. Light of the Martyr requires intuition, and new players typically take time to develop that on a class.

Tyr‘s Deliverance is in the new talent tree and does very similar things. Centered around yourself, not on an ally though. Which compliments your mastery
This is directed to anyone who is dumb enough to try to play HPal at range. I've played Holy Paladin since Vanilla.. Back in the day, ranged HPal was the stuff.. but now I still laugh so much at any person who dares think you can play at range and do well. It is not possible. It's a huge stab at the class if you do it, mastery alone just screams keep me in melee range. Please stop trying to play ranged HPal, it makes me cry inside.. Crusader Strike for fucks sake lmao, consecration.. our new BRez and Interrupt.. all in melee.. just stop wasting groups time with your "Ranged Playstyle" lmao. DEPENDANT ON TUNING?!?!?! NOOOOOOO THAT IS FALSE, they would need to rework the entire class for range playstyle to be viable in anything competitive.

Quick question : is there something about quickly spending all 5 holy powers to 0 for a talent that used to be a legendary or something?
No there isn't. Max u can spend at once is 3 holy power.
