Hi Russ, enjoying your video's. I was wondering if you have found or researched a way to trigger the IR on your dust collector from Mach 4? I have a Grizzly Cyclone very similiar to your setup and would like to get an Avid and auto trigger the dust collector from my start up g-code since I constantly misplace my remote.
It’s totally doable. The avid has two relay outlets which can be configured for dust collection etc. I just prefer having independent separate control. I guess we get stuck in our ways!
Do you find it necessary to have both the Jet dust collector and your custom design? This is the next addition to my shop and so I was curious if the Jet was sufficient.
The Jet works outstanding by itself. The home built unit picks up the slack wherever I may need it. The filters always get dirty so it must be working well! Do you absolutely need it? No.
Hi Timothy. Actually I am impressed with its performance. I realize it’s on the Lower end for horsepower, but cost was a factor as was the need for a 110v unit. It works in my shop!
This was less of a review of the Laguna C Flux 1 and more of a tour of your shop’s entire dust collection.
Cool great video.
Thanks George!

Are you happy with the performance of the 1.5 HP model?
